**Responsibilities**
**Job Summary/Purpuse**
The Clinical Data Analyst works with management and staff to define problems, devise solutions, perform work flow analysis, quality control and problem and change management. The position analyzes, reports, presents and encourages the use of data to monitor and improve care and for designing related processes and systems. The Clinical Analyst supports advanced clinical quality inquiry leading to ad hoc report generation and further investigative analysis, often leading to new clinically relevant information used to improve quality, safety, service and growth. The position facilitates the establishment of a data driven culture in the clinical quality and operational areas
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for collecting, tracking and reporting quality measures /indicators across the system.
+ Produces reports that are timely and accurate.
+ Seeks opportunities to automate or otherwise improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection and reporting.
+ Able to speak about business issues outside of data management, including clinical finance,clinical operations, clinical quality metrics, and process improvements to insure proper focus and results against performance metrics

+ Provide collection and distribution of data and other documents to meet regulatory and system benchmarking requirements
+ Perform project support, data analysis and synthesis of clinical and administrative data from multiple sources into meaningful summary reports and presentations
+ Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings and review data for opportunities for improvement
+ Able to identify major trends in data collection, prepare graphs and measurement tools and report variances in data

Minimum of three years of experience conducting and reporting complex data analyses using statistical methods, preferably in an applied clinical environment. Business management experience in addition to experience in Cerner, Epic, Meditech, Allscripts, Premier helpful. Working knowledge of National Quality Forum (NQF), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Institutes for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) safety indicators, serious reporting events, safe medical practices, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quality measures helpful.

Minimum of 3 years experience in the discipline preferred.

SUMMARY: The Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for coordinating/supporting adherence to evidence-based guidelines and best practices through retroactive and/or concurrent patient reviews with analysis of findings related to regulatory requirements. He/she, in collaboration with the Department Managers, under the direction and supervision of the Quality Director/Manager, performs medical records review and data analysis using established protocol and age specific criteria for the Quality Management Department. This may include but is not limited to the performance improvement data, medical staff reappointment and peer review data, internal and external data requirements from California Department of Public Health, contracted Health Plans, The Joint Commission and Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Duties include abstraction of pertinent information from the medical record based on identified concerns and issues, performing a high volume of accurate data entry as well as updating of the database, ability to compile reports as requested by the medical staff, hospital leadership, clinical departments and/or various committees. He/she coordinates nurse screens, and enters data as appropriate. This position will handle confidential matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Quality or Risk Management at an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of TJC accreditation and patient care evaluation methodology, including criteria development and data analysis techniques preferred.

The Spotfire Clinical Data Analyst will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and development of clinical data visualizations utilizing Spotfire. This role emphasizes creating and enhancing Spotfire-based patient profiles, real-time data review dashboards, clinical metrics dashboards, and other customized visualization reports such as live TLFs. Additionally, the Analyst will collaborate closely with Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Clinical Science, and Clinical Operations to optimize data visualization strategies.

This position requires a full-time onsite presence at our Redmond, WA office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Spotfire for clinical data analysis and visualization.
• Design, develop, and maintain Spotfire dashboards for patient profiles, real-time clinical data review, surveillance, metrics tracking, and other customized visualizations.
• Develop sophisticated, interactive visualizations to support internal data review processes, surveillance, reconciliation, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Clinical Data Managers, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, and Clinical Science teams to identify requirements and translate them into effective Spotfire visualizations.
• Manage and continually improve the Spotfire analytics environment, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
• Establish and maintain a Global Spotfire Library, aligning visualization standards across multiple studies and programs.
• Train and mentor Clinical Data Managers and other stakeholders in effectively utilizing Spotfire dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables with Clinical Data Management and other cross-functional teams to ensure visualizations meet expectations.
• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and methodologies to enhance Spotfire capabilities.
• Document visualization specifications, maintain clear documentation for Spotfire-related processes, and contribute to departmental SOPs.
• Uphold industry standards including protocol compliance, ICH GCP, FDA regulations, and CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Computer Science, Life Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Spotfire visualization development and administration in a clinical trial setting, preferably in oncology and hematology.
• Expert-level proficiency in Spotfire including installation, configuration, dashboard development, data integration, scripting (IronPython, TERR, etc.) and performance optimization.
• Strong experience developing patient profiles, real-time data review dashboards, clinical metrics dashboards, and complex reports.
• Experience with SAS/R, SQL programming, and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with clinical trial data standards (CDISC SDTM, ADaM), experience with TLF generation preferred.
• Experience integrating Spotfire with clinical databases and EDC systems (e.g., Medidata RAVE, Oracle Inform, Veeva).
• Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines including GCP, ICH, and FDA requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills.

While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise align strongly with the requirements of the role.

General Statement of Duties

The part-time Helpdesk Data Analyst will oversee the analytics help desk and related activities. The position will manage incoming requests, run requested reports, filter data, make report edits and enhancements and provide technical advice. This position will assist with maintenance and enhancement projects related to organization-wide data, reports, and systems. They will partner with stakeholders to analyze data and explore ways to increase efficiency, reduce parallel processes, grow end user tool adoption, expand access to cross-functional data, and improve the ability of our stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. Minimum Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• One year of relevant work experience.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science or related field
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record
• Financial and/or billing knowledge
• Certification or professional training in IT or Health IT

• Knowledge of OCHIN EPIC reporting suite, Power BI, Tableau and SQL database systems.
• FQHC reporting/regulation standards (i.e., UDS, ACO, PCPCH, etc.)

• Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers

Physical Demands Required to Fulfill Essential Functions of this Position

Employee must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Employee must be able to focus on tasks while in an active office environment where conversation and noise is prevalent. Employee must be able to operate a keyboard, write, speak, and hear. Employee must be able to read small print both on paper and on a computer screen for long periods of time. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

The Clinical Data Analyst will also oversee the validating and reporting of all Core Measures. i.e., AMI Pneumonia, CHF and SCIP, as well as other important reviews, including mortality, tissue and blood review, CHART review, Leapfrog review, and first level peer review. Responsible for review and analysis of information related to all Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Improvement (QI) activities of the organization. Conduct appropriate quality and peer review activities and provided adequate data to use to show compliance to standards or needs for improvement.

**The role you will contribute:**
The primary role of the Data Analyst is to support thru analytics, problem solving and reporting. This position is responsible for ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources including patient care, financial and demographic data. The position involves development and preparation of information products for AH facilities. This position requires the ability to analyze health care data from conceptualization through presentation of the data. It requires strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service. The Data Analyst has the ability to work independently in gathering data and creating reports. The Data Analyst represents the department in the highest professional manner at all times.

Support AH facilities and AH-IT to maintain timely regulatory measure collection and data transfer to CMS, Joint Commission and other agencies as needed.
Keep up to date with changes and additions to reporting requirements for regulatory measures
Facilitate and maintain regular user group support calls with AH facilities
Monitor and assist with improving the quality of data used by AH for reporting or sent to outside vendors or regulatory agencies
Performs data analysis in support of department and the AH facilities.
Maintain familiarity with clinical issues and events affecting department
Provide department and AH facilities with accurate and appropriate interpretation of data
Takes responsibility for assignment completion and presentation in accordance with set timelines, including consistent follow through and communication to supervisor of any outstanding issues
Displays proactive problem-solving independently and in collaboration with team members
Provide support and training on data collection or reporting tools as needed in order to serve the analytic needs of the AH facilities and department.
Responsible for exceptional customer service by promoting an image of a professional high quality organization through expertise and responsiveness.
Perform other duties as needed to support the ongoing operations
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
Bachelors in Information Systems, nursing or related health field or 5 years equivalent experience
Current experience working with healthcare data
Maintain State of Florida nursing license, if applicable
