**Clinical Imaging Director**
**What you will do**
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will help coordinate and lead the application of different imaging strategies to support our portfolio of innovative obesity, inflammation, cardiovascular and rare disease drug candidates. You will be expected to work with cross functional teams to design, execute and analyze imaging studies.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Expand Amgen's end to end imaging process to all non-oncology TAs and integrate into wider clinical development procedures. Initial focus would be on obesity, inflammation and rare diseases.
+ Representing clinical imaging on process improvement initiatives
+ Standardize internal document templates and imaging vendor documentation (Charter, site manuals etc.) for common imaging readouts. Establish new procedures and documentations for novel or updated imaging procedures/criteria.
+ Serve as a SME while supporting strategic sourcing and vendor management teams in vendor capability/quality evaluations.
+ Develop training materials for imaging methods and endpoints to educate team members on expected/appropriate imaging strategies in clinical trials.
+ Work closely with precision medicine, statistics, clinical development, regulatory and clinical operation leads to formulate appropriate imaging biomarker strategies
+ Lead, design and implement multi-modality imaging measures as endpoints for clinical studies in a variety of TAs.
+ Contribute to clinical biomarkers and diagnostics strategy by evaluating novel imaging modalities, novel image analysis tools and artificial intelligence tools.

**Basic Qualifications:**
Doctorate degree PhD OR PharmD OR MD (and relevant post-doc where applicable) and 5 years of biomedical or imaging-related field experience
**Or**
Master's degree and 8 years of biomedical or imaging-related field experience
**Or**
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of biomedical or imaging-related field experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ An advanced degree (i.e., MSc or Ph.D.) with 7+ years of experience in clinical imaging research working within a pharmaceutical company.
+ Proven track record of successfully leading and managing clinical trials with a deep understanding the workflows which allow different teams (regulatory, operations, statistics etc.) to successfully collect and analyze imaging data.
+ Proven leadership experience in the utilization of molecular imaging as a quantitative biomarker in clinical trials
+ Experience with the utilization of clinical MR imaging in evaluation of clinical endpoints and investigation of suspected adverse events is preferred.
+ Experience is utilization of imaging in obesity and rare diseases is preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Experience with either PACS or CPACS is acceptable as these are the main systems within ecosystem, this position also values knowledge of other clinical imaging technologies. Relevant experience could include systems such as Powerscribe 360, RapidAI, Viewpoint, Merge Hemo, and Client Cardiolab. The ideal candidate would have experience with both PACS and CPACS.
Healthcare Environment: Previous experience working in hospital systems or clinic environments.
Foundational Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of systems architecture used consistently within or across the organization. TOGAF is preferred but not required. However, enterprise architecture experience is required and understanding integrated systems, scalability, security, and compliance in the context of clinical imaging technology (Design and manage the integration of PACS, CPACS, and other imaging systems). Other enterprise architecture frameworks could be acceptable alternatives.
Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. 5 years of experience required. 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.

We are seeking an Application Analyst to join our Clinical Imaging Systems team. This team is dedicated to the implementation and support of over 25 state-of-the-art Clinical Imaging Solutions in the areas of Radiology, Ophthalmology, Nuclear Medicine and more.
* This is a hybrid position: On-site work in our Bronx, NY locations a minimum of 2 days per week.
Responsibilities include:
* Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settings.
* Provide go-live and rollout support.
* Interface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users with new applications, modules, and functionality.
* Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification
* Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users:
* Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements.
* Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help clients move towards optimal solutions.
* Evaluate the operational workflow applied to the system.
* Create system specifications from user requirements.
* Create and execute test plans for new system implementations and upgrades to existing applications.
* Document all outcomes of testing.
* Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support including triaging network / workstation / hardware related issues.
* Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, and coordination of software modifications and updates. Recommend improvements, increase efficiencies, and provide pro-active monitoring.
* Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis.
* Provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its' affiliates (on-site, rotational support)
Requirements include:
* Proven track record with implementing, troubleshooting, testing, and supporting PACS and/or clinical imaging systems.
* IT experience within patient care settings or medical centers.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with physicians and clinical staff.
* Knowledge of DICOM, DICOM RT, HL7, IHE and other health related standards
* Critical thinking skills; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Eager to learn, exceptional listening skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skills.
* Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
