Job Overview
The PACE Director of Clinical Nursing, in collaboration with the Medical Director of Clinical Services for PACE, is responsible for all nursing leadership and professional practices of nursing at AltaMed PACE centers. Responsible for developing and implementing quality, cost-effective, efficient clinical systems and protocols for standardizing processes of patient care at all AltaMed PACE sites. Provides leadership to include the development of innovative clinical services, oversees implementation, and is accountable for nursing metrics for the delivery of quality care. This includes patient services, creating and managing nursing leadership within the organization, and administering all patient care programs related to nursing. The PACE Director of Clinical Nursing is responsible for assisting in efforts for nursing recruiting, onboarding, and training to meet standards in clinical nursing care.
Minimum Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.

* A healthcare background is preferred.

**Job Description**
HCC is seeking experienced nurses in the areas of medical/surgical, pediatrics, maternal/newborn, mental health, and fundamentals of nursing to work with students in the clinical setting.
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified.

**Required Education**
A Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree; MSN preferred. Candidates must be licensed as a registered nurse in Maryland or a compact state.
**Required Experience**
Two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse are required.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**
Work requires medium physical effort lifting up to 50 lbs.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Clinical teaching experience preferred.
**General Weekly Work Schedule**
Clinical teaching may include days, evenings and/or weekends and takes place at various sites in Harford County and the surrounding region.
