Under general direction, the **Senior Research Administrator (Research Administrator II)** , provides Pre and Post award support to Joslin investigators for complex Clinical Research awards including federal grants and subcontracts, foundation grants and clinical trial agreements.
Pre-award responsibilities require supporting the preparation, review and processing of clinically-oriented grant applications and with an emphasis on industry sponsored clinical trials.
Post-award responsibilities involve the administration of research projects in compliance with legal, sponsor and Center policies and regulations. This position will also assist in the maintenance of internal tracking data used for management reporting.

**Responsibilities**
+ Under direct supervision assists and advises faculty and staff on all aspects of pre- and post-award clinical research project proposals and account management.
+ Presents clear and concise interpretation of policies, regulations, and guidelines to faculty, staff, administrators and others.
+ Stays abreast of sponsors' rules, regulations and policy changes. Disseminate information about changes in clinical research administration guidelines from sponsors and the Center. Remain abreast of current trends, practices, regulatory and/or policy changes of granting entities, which may impact internal processes or programs. Provide continuing education to faculty and staff on external regulations. Develops resources to aid faculty and staff in their response to funding opportunities and performance of contracts.
+ Maintains departmental databases
+ Prepares just-in-time documentation for validation and compiles other information required for sponsors' grant application processing and award issuance.
+ Requests sponsor authorization as necessary on changes in principal investigator, scope or work, key personnel, key personnel effort, performance site, proposed funding period or no-cost extension requests via eRA Commons.
+ Ensures clinical research award operational compliance with Center policies and external legal and administrative regulations.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.
+ Three or more years' experience in research administration with pre and post award management in an academic research/hospital environment.
+ Clinical trial and related clinical research experience preferred
+ Demonstrated track record in a front-line service-oriented position, involving extensive customer service and relationship building.
+ Certification in Research Administration desirable.
+ Broad knowledge of polices and regulations governing federal funding and accompanying compliance issues
+ Ability to interpret PHS and other grant sponsor policies, including Uniform Guidance, and related grant management requirements to ensure accurate proposal submission.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other database applications (Access Preferred)
+ Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse segments of the institution, provide training, and respond to end-user questions.
+ Ability to work independently to identify problems and solutions that meet the occasionally competing needs of research, other internal departments, sponsoring agencies or regulatory bodies.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • This position is responsible for vertical and horizontal integration of Command & Launch.
  • Disciplines to include master planning, configuration and data management, digital engineering, business management, risk management, processes and tools, engineering, etc.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis for complex business-optimization projects across different independent departments
  • Lead change management efforts by ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement throughout the project phases.
  • Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to reach the goals within the timeline.
  • Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements, communicating progress, and managing expectations
  • Analyze business needs, workflows, and processes, and translate them into clear, actionable project requirements.
  • Understand product workflows and vision from top management and transform them into process improvements and automation.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing solutions, mitigation strategies, and change management plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure the successful implementation and integration of business systems, processes, or technology solutions.
  • Monitor project performance and KPIs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and business outcomes.
  • Prepare business cases, present ideas to stakeholders, and manage them through all stages of implementation to support process optimization at the department and company level.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support proposed solutions
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, presentations, and status updates to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within projects.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing projects (4+ years)
  • Proven experience in business analysis (3+ years)
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager is a must
  • Strong research and analytical skills are a must
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • In-depth experience in process analysis and optimization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience in requirement gathering, business process modeling, data and gap analysis
  • Innovative and solution-oriented mindset with data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in building no-code/low-code prototypes to validate hypotheses in the early stages is a plus
  • Proven experience working with AI and implementing it into the products and/or business processes with proven results is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
  • Proven record of successful management of digital and operational business process improvement projects
  • Fluency in English

Northrop Grumman Defense Services sector is currently seeking a Project Management position to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia. In this position, the selected candidate will take an active role in systems sustainment protecting the men and women that fly our nation's aircraft in harm's way.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Work in multiple different areas of job duties
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have 2 years of related experience in logistics (or related field) with a Bachelors, 0-1 year with a master's, 4 years with associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in logistics (or related field). Will also consider 6 years with related experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of scheduling multiple assets and timelines
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to solve real world complex scheduling problems
  • Must have the understanding of how to operate Microsoft Office software and associated Windows applications
  • Must have an interim or active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or an inactive clearance (last active within the past 2 years)
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Experience with S4, 1ERP, Plant Maintenance, Service Now
  • Experience with scheduling multiple items and quickly adapting to rapid changes

NGSkill Primary Level Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
