Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Tableau Cloud Administrator to join their team! This position is located in Brentwood, Missouri.

Duties:

• Administer multiple sites on a Tableau Cloud tenant, including managing user licenses and permissions, deploying changes to production reporting, and implementing platform level changes
• Monitor the usage of assets in the tenant and perform quarterly reviews to determine if there is content that should be removed
• Upgrade and administer a stable highly available tableau cluster guaranteed for high operational activities and optimize the operational challenges and tune systems
• Stay informed of upcoming features for Tableau Cloud and provide recommendations regarding implementation and standards
• Assist in developing training or documentation materials about the new features to the platform to rollout to users
• Review current structures and permissions to be able to recommend improvements to our governance practices
• Provide top notch support and quality engagement to user's inquiries via conversations as well as through a ticketing system
• Work with Tableau premium support for new enhancements and product related issue resolution
• Develop and document standards and best practices to support Tableau development and administration
• Manage user security for new and existing business intelligence tools in compliance with all audit requirements
• Create scripts to work with Tableau Cloud and Server APIs to be able to automate workflows and extract monitoring data
• Work within the team and customer stakeholders to support the design and development of performance scorecards, workbooks, and dashboard reports
• Build prototypes for demonstrations and illustration purposes
• Build and deploy highly available BI environments, optimize the operational challenges and tune systems

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 4+ years direct experience as Tableau Cloud administrator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to concisely convey analytical interpretation and/or data issues to affected members of departments
• Self-directed professional with a hunger to continually learn and grow
• Experience with installation, configuration, upgrade, patches, maintenance, and regression testing of enterprise-level Tableau Server distributed environments
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software, with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture and administration
• Operational expertise in troubleshooting, monitoring, understanding bottlenecks, basics of system architecture, operating systems, virtualization platforms, network, storage, and disaster recovery tools
• Experience with automation for tasks like deployment of data sources/workbooks across environment, alerts via scripting

• Ability to work on multiple client projects in cross-functional teams, competing priorities, and ensure follow-through on committed deliverables

• Familiarity with Azure Monitoring, Azure Portal, and Cost Management
• Working knowledge on any of the key ETL/data pipeline market tools such as Python or DBT is preferred
• Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with JIRA/GitHub or other code management toolsets and with change control concepts
• Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, Salesforce Data Cloud in particular

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $120,000 - $135,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.

• Provide support and administration for Michael Kors IT department's cloud presence.

• Work with application and security teams to remediate any issues with resources, services, or security concerns for cloud platforms.
• Proactively look for ways to improve administration, monitoring, and standard operating procedures.
• Plan, create, and deploy backup strategies to protect data stored in the cloud and strategic monitoring for all accounts.
• Provision and create cloud services for migration and support of applications
• Monitor and track incidents and triage call in a service desk ticketing system in support of the incident and problem management process; recognize high priority tickets and act within the expected response time.
• Monitor all cloud resources and responding to alerts within the environment.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of Cloud Admin experience supporting AWS and Azure
• Experience with automation tools to streamline and standardize our cloud deployments. Ex: ARM Template, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, etc.
• Experience with implementing cloud services, such as EC2,S3, Elastic, Docker, IAM, service accounts, Azure VMS, Key vault, storage account, Kubernetes, Backup, Runbook and Monitor.
• Fundamental knowledge of knowledge of network connectivity, VPC (Subnets/Security Groups) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in PowerShell scripting and automation of admin functions.
• Administration experience in Azure and AWS with and without scripting methods.
• Required certification: Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Cloud solutions Associate and AI Certifications will be a plus
• Experience in Day-to-day Operations of AWS and Azure environments including uptime, cross platform support and security
• Hands on experience with building retail or relevant applications in AWS and Azure with migration, governance and automated deployments
• Experience in cloud migration including legacy data transfer from on-prem to AWS

• Experience in working with application, engineering teams and stakeholders to monitor and maintain a secure and resilient cloud-hosted infrastructure to establish SLAs across the environments

• Candidate must be flexible to support needs of the department. Off hours and weekend support are required.

• Ability to implement systems that are highly available, scalable and meet disaster recovery requirements.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and overall identity and access management for cloud platforms.

• The Cloud Administrator usually works under the direction of a Manager or user agency personnel and manages or oversees all aspects of one or more Multi-Cloud IT projects while interacting with mid-level officials of similar capacity at the user agency and private sector.
• The Cloud Administrator determines appropriate products or services with clients or customers to support customer applications requirements and deliverables, develops, modifies or provides input to project plans; implements multi-cloud solutions to meet objectives; coordinates and integrates multi-cloud services; manages, leads or administers project resources; monitors implementation activities and resources to mitigate risk, implements or maintains quality assurance processes, makes improvements, solves problems or takes corrective action when problems arise, gives presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project, participates in phase, milestone and final solution reviews, identifies documentation requirements or procedures; and develops and implements deployment schedules and release plans.
