This position provides Cloud Computing expertise to customer's R&D ground system design, architecture development, cloud application integration/deployment, and system integration. This position provides hands-on expertise implementing and managing the customer's multiple cloud infrastructures. In addition, the cloud engineer configures and troubleshoots complex systems, software, and applications hosted in cloud services associated with the customer's programs and projects. The cloud engineer is responsible for optimizing cloud resources for efficiency, reliability, and cost savings. This position will provide technical assessments to cloud environment's design and integration challenges and recommend mitigation approaches, to include hardware solutions, software solutions, and modification of architectural design. Finally, the cloud engineer would assist users with their cloud stack consisting of Python and Jupyter Lab environments, setting up and optimizing AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, deployment of AI models, implementing and managing GPU clusters, and optimizing AI infrastructures for high performance computing. The successful applicant will work to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex and technically challenging work.
