The Sr Engineer, Cloud assists IT colleagues and partners to develop, migrate and deploy key cloud initiatives in a dynamic environment, while also ensure stability and functionality requirements from business customers are met.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
- Supports the planning, configuration, and operation of Molina cloud infrastructure migration and services.
- Works to configure and support workloads in the cloud, automates cloud infrastructure maintenance, and builds new operational monitoring capabilities.
- Provides troubleshooting support and identifies root causes for issues escalated by the NOC team.
- Develops and maintains tutorials and training resources.
**Job Qualifications**

Basic Qualifications

You will work closely with development, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical designs and provide expert guidance on cloud adoption strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) that meet business requirements for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Lead the development of cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, and database services.
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing on-premises infrastructure and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and architects.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to improve efficiency and capabilities.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, implementing necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in cloud environments.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud-native solutions.
• Extensive experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
