**_Role Summary_**
Dynatrace is seeking a VP Sales, Cloud Native Sales to lead the charge in accelerating adoption of our Cloud Native observability solutions. As the first hire for this team, you will be accountable for shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy, overseeing the sales lifecycle (from lead generation to deal closure) ensuring seamless customer experience, revenue growth and market expansion.
You will drive growth through customer evangelism, field education, and pipeline acceleration, while building a high-performing team to execute revenue-generating initiatives.

**_Key Responsibilities:_**
+ Develop and execute GTM strategy for Dynatrace's Cloud Native business to drive platform adoption, pipeline growth, and revenue expansion across new and existing accounts.
+ Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Cloud Native Account Executives (initial hiring will be in NORAM and EMEA),
+ Set/monitor KPIs for team performance, including pipeline health, conversion rates, deal size, and customer retention; identify new market opportunities and guide team in penetrating new verticals
+ Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Enablement to drive education, positioning, and packaging of our live-debugger and developer-first tools.
+ Act as a technical sales evangelist, conveying how our solutions help customers accelerate AI and cloud-native development using our unique observability capabilities.
+ Build and refine GTM playbooks for selling to DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud architecture stakeholders.
+ Drive consumption and self-service growth through developer-focused sales motions and product-led expansion.
+ Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise organizations, and partners - understanding their observability needs and guiding them toward DT Cloud Native solutions.
+ Act as global though leader in Cloud Native space; provide market insight feedback to Product/GTM teams to influence roadmap and customer experience improvements.
**What will help you succeed**
**_Minimum Requirements:_**
+ 10 years in enterprise SaaS sales, with 5+ years in a leadership role driving growth in cloud-native, observability, or developer tooling segments.
**_Preferred Requirements:_**
+ Proven ability to build, coach, and scale early-stage sales teams.
+ Deep understanding of cloud native ecosystem (Kubernetes, containers, microservices, serverless, etc.) and relevant buying centers (DevOps, platform engineering, SRE).
+ Experience selling modern DevOps or developer platforms (e.g., observability, APM, CI/CD, infrastructure automation).
+ Strong knowledge of observability space, with technical fluency and ability to partner credibly with product/engineering teams.

**Compensation and Rewards**
+ The base salary range for this role is $220,000 - $280,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.

GDIT is seeking an experienced **Senior** **Cloud Native Engineer** to work in a dynamic agile team environment. The **Senior Cloud Native Engineer** will be part of a technically diverse team supporting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) via the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) contract. The Integrated Data Repository (IDR) is a high-volume data warehouse integrating Parts A, B, C, D, and DME claims, beneficiary and provider data sources, along with ancillary data such as contract information, risk scores, and many others. Access to this robust integrated data supports a variety of strategic analytics across CMS.
The successful candidate will support and maintain multiple systems, including a production-grade deployment of the Synthea. This role will be pivotal in managing API integrations, improving system reliability, generating test data, and optimizing deployment workflows in a cloud-native AWS environment.
You'll work closely with DevSecOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our APIs across multiple environments.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,050 - $129,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**Work Arrangement**

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 160,000 and USD $ 272,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. You will report to the Director of Services, Americas, who oversees the operations and projects within the region. As for the work setup, the job is remote, with no requirement to go into the office. However, there might be travel requirements of 10-30 percent for client meetings, project implementations, and other business needs. This setup allows for flexibility and autonomy in managing your work while also fostering collaboration and engagement with clients and team members across different regions.
**Your Role**
+ Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
+ Guide customers through technical assessments (i.e. Workshop expertise), architectural reviews, and solution design, ensuring seamless integration with their existing infrastructure
+ Support pre-sales activities by scoping customer needs, defining technical approaches, and developing level of effort (LOE) estimates for proposed solutions
+ Lead deployment and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters, including workload placement, storage integration, and networking configurations
+ Implement GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate provisioning and cluster management using tools like Terraform and Ansible
+ Develop documentation, operational runbooks, and reference architectures to support customer enablement and long-term maintainability
+ Contribute to practice development by creating and enhancing reusable delivery kits, implementation templates, and internal training content
+ Stay current on cloud-native technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and scalability
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Professional Services, Practice Development, Product Management, and Engineering-to deliver high-impact solutions and drive innovation
**What You Will Bring**
+ 10+ years of experience in Consulting, DevOps, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering roles
+ Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technical solutions
+ Extensive hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, including design, deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting in production environments
+ Demonstrated experience architecting end-to-end container-based solutions, including high availability, resilience, and securityProficiency with hybrid and multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments (e.g., on-premises, AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
+ Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
+ Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline tools and workflows, especially as they relate to Kubernetes environments (such as GitOps, Argo, Flux, etc.)
+ Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
+ Solid grasp of networking, firewalls, service meshes, ingress controllers, and container security best practices, incl. DNS, idP (LDAP, OIDC, SAML, etc).
+ Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems
+ Experience with Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKE/NKP) or similar enterprise Kubernetes distributions (OpenShift, Rancher, etc.) is a strong plus
+ Architectural design expertise with one or more of the following certifications: TOGAF, VCDX, CCIE, or NPX
+ Solid Nutanix or vSphere infrastructure knowledge as well as NFS and Object Storage
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
+ US Citizen required
**Work Arrangement**
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 160,000 and USD $ 272,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
