The role of a Cloud Professional Services Manager at Canonical

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA

Currently hold a Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Poly

  • 10+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Proven leadership in technical projects across multiple organizations and agencies.
  • Expertise in AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, WorkSpaces, Snowball).
  • Strong development background in Python (Boto3), Bash, PowerShell, .NET (C#), T-SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Terraform, GitLab CI, Puppet, Ansible).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate and Professional).
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer; experience with RHEL, CentOS, SuSE, and Solaris preferred.
  • M.S. in Systems Engineering, Computer Science and B.S. in Business or Technical field.
