Position Overview
The Technical Specialist-Platform Architecture will join the TRATON Group R&D Systems Architecture team in Lisle, Illinois, which defines the vehicle network, functional, and communication architectures across all TRATON Group vehicles.This role is responsible for defining the electrical/electronic (EE) architecture, including functional allocation, message definitions, module I/O allocation, and providing system-level technical support.

Responsibilities
+ Development and documentation of CAN, Ethernet and/or LIN messaging constructs

Qualifications
+ Experience:
+ Minimum 7+ years of experience in solution architecture with focus on data centers and cloud computing.
+ Proven track record designing and delivering solutions for medium-to-large enterprises.
+ Technical Skills:
+ Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
+ Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization (e.g. VMware).
+ Proficiency in hybrid cloud models and integration of on-premise systems with cloud services.
+ Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
+ Customer-Facing Skills:
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate technical details into business case solutions for clients.

**Your role and responsibilities**
The Solutions Architecture (SA) organization serves as solution subject matter experts, providing technical guidance at strategic points throughout the lifecycle of our partnership with our Customers. As Solution Specialists, we collaborate across multiple functions including Sales, Solution Engineering, R&D, Value Engineering, Marketing and Professional Services to help clear technical blockers, optimize solution design, and accelerate time-to-value for Customers adopting HashiCorp solutions.
What you'll do (responsibilities)
As a Solution Specialist, you will focus on driving customer success and adoption of HashiCorp solutions. You will serve as a domain expert, providing customers with technical guidance at strategic points during customer journeys with HashiCorp. You will translate Customer challenges into repeatable, scalable, and consumable product and process standard methodologies, across the entire HashiCorp portfolio, for the benefit of all field teams, Partners, and Customers.
* Assist as a specialized domain expert aligned to, and in support of, HashiCorp's products and the surrounding ecosystem and an escalation path to progress strategic opportunities across the entire customer journey
* Establish and maintain an understanding of the overall HashiCorp technology portfolio
* Assist in sophisticated technical due diligence activities supporting our moments that matter such as Discovery, Technical Validation, Onboarding, Consumption, and Optimization
* Deliver advanced product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, workshops, and proof-of-values to key customer partners
* Partner with Account Teams to identify and manage Customer risks and opportunities as they relate to product adoption, renewal, and expansion
* Collaborate with HashiCorp Product Management to translate Customer business needs into technical solutions and prioritize new product requirements
* Collaborate with HashiCorp Product Management, Marketing, Product Education, and Value Engineering to build and manage prescriptive patterns for core and strategic product use cases
* Act as educators and advisors to HashiCorp Sales teams, our partners and our customers

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Comfort leading discussions with customers to educate and advise on usage and adoption of HashiCorp products to achieve measurable value
* Deep technical expertise in cloud and on-premise infrastructure management, application deployment, and practical security methodology
* Strong foundation of supporting technical sales and security-focused solutions

**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience crafting technical content such as Architectural Blueprints and Recommended Patterns
* Experience supporting peers through code review, pairing, and acting as a resource for all team members, sharing technical knowledge and process guidance
* Deep knowledge of HashiCorp's domain area and ow it works together to conceptualize solutions in the given domain area (HashiCorp product Certification Desired)
* Expertise in at least one Cloud provider in your given region (AWS/Azure/GCP Certification Preferred)
* Expertise in the field of container orchestration and development (CKA Certification Preferred)

Qualifications:

• Professional Architect license (e.g., RA, RIBA) required.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced architectural design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper) and visualization tools.
• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex project lifecycles.
• Deep understanding of sustainable design principles, certifications (LEED, WELL), and their integration into architectural solutions.
• Exceptional conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
