**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to support our production team in operating manual and CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality parts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Operate manual or CNC machines to produce precision parts
+ Set up equipment (feed, speed, temperature) per established procedures
+ Perform cutting, drilling, milling, and stamping tasks
+ Measure and prepare raw materials to meet specifications
+ Troubleshoot production and machinery issues
+ Support general manufacturing operations as needed
**Essential Skills:**
+ 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Familiarity with CNC programming and machining
+ Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments
+ Knowledge of CNC mills/lathes, Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, and manual operations
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential job functions are:

• Review work orders and use material handling equipment, overhead crane or fork lift to get material.
• Verify material to order and enter into computer
• Instrumentally start machine and set up line for production
• Charge material through machine with hand controls
• Maintain production and quality standards by measuring and verifying before during and after processing
• Use micrometers or calipers to check and record gauge width, hardness, burr and surface condition
• Document machine mechanical problems
• Understand and document material defects, data entry and reconcile production
• Adjust machine setup to correct defects as needed throughout process
• Remove scrap from machine and empty hopper as needed

Physical Demands:

• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• May involve some repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold

Requirements:

• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Computer skills, data entry, good verbal and written communication skills
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
• Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
• Must be certified or become certified in operation of forklifts and overhead cranes

CNC Machine Operator

Under direct supervision, the CNC Machine Operator will provide support to the CNC production department. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining CNC operations.

In this role, you will:

• Load and unload blanks/finished tools from the loader compartments to keep machines running.
• Update server batch information accordingly.
• Perform geometry inspections of the product, including regular Helicheck reports.
• Keep job paperwork, including inspection paperwork, up to date with production quantities and inspection data.
• Keep the inspected product capped in job boards to mark inspection locations and prove inspection frequency.
• Move finished jobs to the next operation.
• Assist coworkers in keeping equipment running efficiently.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

You'll bring:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CNC Machining experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow Engineering documents including but not limited to: Geometry specification sheets, Product drawings, Job routers, Process sheets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability for attention to details.
• Ability to work independently.
• Regular standing and frequent walking.
• Occasional climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to train during daylight hours before transitioning to another shift. Pay is based on experience (CNC programming experience preferred).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
View drawings and blueprints to understand what dimensions the materials need to be cut/shaped into
Think creatively to determine the most effective and efficient way to cut the material into the desired shape and size
Select the proper materials and tools to get the job done, such as calipers, drills and mills
Set up and program the cutting machines to make the part, using CAD and CNC software
Inspect finished product to ensure accuracy
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or GED required
Mechanically inclined individuals preferred
CNC operation/programming experience preferred
Auto CAD experience preferred
Experience working with and understanding blueprints preferred
Fundamental understanding of M and G codes
