Job Description Summary
The CNC programmer should demonstrate the ability to set up and program multi-axis mills and lathes with live tooling. You’ll create and revise programs, support production and prototypes, and ensure high-quality parts while working in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment.
You will play a vital role in supporting production goals and machining high-precision parts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with experience in both turning and milling using Fanuc equipment and Mazatrol controls.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using Espirit and Solidworks CAD/CAM software.
- Programming with G-code (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, or similar systems)
- Troubleshoot machines and mentor other operators.
- Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Monitors the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and orders as necessary
- Maintain current environmental procedures and update as needed.
- Provide technical assistance to Production and trouble shoot problems.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Use of Espirit, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous CNC programming experience; live tooling preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
CAD/CAM software experience
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications
Excellent mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
Minimum of high school diploma
Prior Gear Manufacturing experience a plus
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Machine Shop Supervisor, plan, lay-out and perform a wide range of machine tool operations in a shop environment to construct, alter and repair pump components.
Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
- Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
- Consider tools required to cut various materials and program machines accordingly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
- Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and edit programs.

We are looking for a CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role you will program software to ensure our CNC and mill machines operate efficiently and produce quality products. At Addman youll be part of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of aerospace and additive manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create and maintain all programs for the shop floor, using Siemens NX software.
- Works with the Project Managers (PMs) and Manufacturing Engineers (MEs) in evaluating requests for quote to determine if a program can be done cost effectively for the customer and the company.
- Works with PMs, MEs, vendors and others to gather any necessary information for new jobs.
- Coordinate jobs flowing through the department and verify data prior to being released to the shop.
- Work with the operation and engineering teams to resolve any programming issues.
- May develop programs for touch probe programming for on machine inspection and coordinate shifting. Support the development of touch probing standard procedures.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
