**Job Description**

+ Use inspection tools to troubleshoot any machining issues
+ Identify tooling/machines for all programming steps of a precision machined component
+ Independently write programs for milling/turning machines using MasterCAM
+ Use simulation to verify programs and macros - Draw and modify prints/ 3-D models using CAD/CAM
+ Understand and utilize simple statistical charts like X-bar
+ Use Excel to develop reports, transform data, create graphs, use advanced features such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables - Assist with process improvement tools, such as DOE
+ Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed - Performs other duties as assigned by manager

+ Demonstrated ability to setup and troubleshoot all types of CNC machines

**Additional Information**

The Programmer will play a crucial role in the creation of programs for use in machining of custom metal parts, including complex impellors, inducers, covers, casing, and caps for use in industrial fluid transfer, such as Oil and Gas. Main responsibilities include Programming on Siemens NX for 40% new parts, and 60% new versions of existing parts, for both Lathe and Mill. May also Design fixturing as needed. **Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC Lathes. Additionally, they may be tasked with inspecting their own parts, including first articles and in-process inspections. We are a contract manufacturer supporting diverse industries such as Aerospace, Medical Device, Optical, and Semiconductor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC Lathes effectively.
+ Inspect own parts, including first article and in-process inspections.
+ Work with machines ranging from 3-Axis to 5-Axis, including HAAS and Matsuura.
+ Handle complex parts with tight tolerances ranging from ±.0001 to .0005.
+ Collaborate with team members and adapt to various tasks such as material cutting and sawing parts.
+ Operate 2-3 machines simultaneously, depending on experience.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience with setup and operation of CNC Lathes, 3-4 years considered if highly skilled.
+ Experience with 4-axis machines at minimum, 5-axis experience preferred.
+ Proficiency in Fanuc Controls.
+ Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches with GD&T feature controls.
+ Capability to perform first article and in-process inspections.
+ Possession of own measuring and basic machining tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Programming experience with SurfCAM and/or SolidWorks.
+ Experience in an AS9100/ISO9001 regulated shop.
+ Experience with CNC milling machines.
