SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, writes, edits and optimizes CNC programs to create mechanical parts on 3, and 5 axis CNC machines. Creates highly diversified and complex programs for milling, drilling, boring, tapping, of Aerospace parts while adhering to all safety features of the machines and plant. As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

• Develop and create CNC programs for machines to efficiently produce parts according to specifications, including inputting product designs into computer modeling software.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements and sequences, and adjust machine settings to meet desired product specifications.

• 5-10 years of experience as a CNC programmer, specifically with parts for rotating and/or reciprocating equipment (e.g., steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, reciprocating compressors, turbochargers, valves, dry gas seals) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprint designs, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in Vericut and Mastercam, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook).
• Experience with SAP and Teamcenter is desired. Extensive experience with computer modeling software.
