What You'll Do as a Machinist at Dynamic Engineering:
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and precision of finished parts
- Make adjustments and fine-tune machine settings to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize efficiency and productivity

As the Machinist/CNC Programmer, you will develop CNC programs and technical documentation for production purposes. Operator/Programmer will be expected to maintain quality and safety standard, keep accurate records, and maintain equipment and supplies.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

1. Training and Development:
- Create instructions and setup sheets for operators.
- Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.
- Participate in educational opportunities; read technical publications.
- Review 3D CAD Models and blueprints.
- Make calculations for programming, tooling, and material required.
- Analyze job orders and perform necessary calculations.
- Analyze and select feeds and speeds for programs.
- Make improvements to complex setups and for inefficient programs.
- Simplify tooling selection for operators and increase productivity for the team.
- Prepare geometric layout of designs and toolpaths using proper software. Nesting.
- Determine the sequence of operations in a program.
- Choose cutting tools that will be needed.
- Check completed programs by running simulations or tests.
- Evaluate all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the company.
- Monitor all programs to make sure they follow blueprint specifications and safely and successfully complete the task.
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to defined quality standards.
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes as trained.
- Produce parts as directed by schedule or Lead person.
- Safely operate other machine tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and stock pushers and indicating vises as trained and monitored by Lead person.
- Follow instructions as delivered by Lead person, work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and locations of surfaces.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Safely operate mills and lathes by following instructions, including zero and reference points, including basic math.
- Safely operate other machine tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and stock pushers and indicating vises as trained and monitored by Lead person.
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating. Actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintain remanent inventory.
- Communicate with operators who will be running the programs.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and write CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining processes using CAD/CAM software
Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and materials.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models to create accurate and efficient machining strategies.
Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds to optimize production and tool life.
Conduct test runs and adjust programs as needed to ensure quality and precision.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend solutions to improve processes.
Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality control to continuously improve products and processes.
Maintain accurate documentation of programs, set-up sheets, and revisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
Proficient in CAD/CAM software
Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machining principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with different materials (e.g., aluminum, steel, plastics) and their machining requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
