Certification from a nationally recognized organization such as:
- NSCA (CSCS or CPT)
- NASM (CPT or PES)
- ACE (CPT)
- ACSM (EP-C or CPT)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certified (must be current)
Knowledge and skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a secure, high pressure environment
- Experience working in secure or classified environments (military, IC, or defense community)

We are seeking a part-time (approx. 3 months) to Full-Time applicant that has inspiration to both coach/develop children (ages 2-8) & assist our leadership team in business growth. This role will consist of working 5-6 days per week (mandatory Saturday & Sundays), the other 3-4 days will be coordinated on your preference, but will need to be consistent. What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a QRIS Program Coaching (PC) Specialist who will deliver Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) coaching and technical assistance services with the goal of improving the quality of participating Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA) child care programs. The PC Specialist will also focus on the broad work of quality improvement, including setting the conditions for change; creating and implementing a quality improvement plan; providing individualized support on common topics related to implementing the CA-QRIS standards. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide program coaching services, technical assistance and training services in alignment with the QRIS Coaching model by providing mentoring and support to program participants. The areas of support include but are not limited to: the classroom environment, teacher-child interactions, and assessment as they relate to QRIS elements.
- Conduct virtual, onsite and in-person coaching sessions, training and technical assistance in developmentally appropriate curriculum and practice; facilitate networking opportunities and act as a resource for participants on child development, quality child care and professional development.
- Share feedback and information, help child care providers reflect on progress, and assist them in the development of a working portfolio.
- Develop Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) using SMART Goals for participating QSLA sites and ensure monthly coaching sessions support the QIP.
- Ensure and maintain project compliance through a detailed knowledge of the QRIS Contract, Scope of Work; Quality Continuum Framework-Rating Matrix; Continuous Quality Improvement Pathways Tools and Resources; and other documents, as required
- Maintain ongoing effective communication with the Crystal Stairs QRIS Team to ensure effective program implementation and achievement of program goals
- Coordinate and collaborate with QSLA Crystal Stairs Coaching staff to exchange information about the needs of sites to provide more cohesive, holistic support
- Build connections with and help maintain resources on local higher education institutions and local professional development opportunities
- Participate in events as needed to help maintain CCALA and QRIS visibility with funders and other current and potential stakeholders
- Maintain records of work activities and track/monitor progress of participants
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Program Manager
- Bachelor Degree in ECE/Child Development or related field with 24 ECE units or Program Director Permit is required; Masters Degree, or equivalent work experience, in ECE/Child Development or related field is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of three years of experience working in a child care setting, working with adult learners, and a diverse client population.
- Must have a minimum of two years experience designing training and facilitation of trainings
- Experience with quality improvement programs with a strength-based approach
- Strong working knowledge of the quality rating tools such as Program Administration Scale (PAS) and Business Administration Scale (BAS); child observation and/or screening tools such as ASQ-3, ASQ:SE, and DRDP
- Familiarity with the Quality Continuum Framework Rating Matrix, CLASS, Environmental Rating Scales (ERS)
- Strong working knowledge of higher education systems and requirements including transcripts, degree requirements, and transferring degrees and credits from international educational institutions; familiarity with California Child Development Permit Matrix
- Ability to be flexible, innovative and adapt to the changing needs of the program, department and agency.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Publisher, Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Requires the exercise of some independent judgment and discretion in analyzing facts and circumstances and in the determination of actions to be taken within the limits of standard practice; involves application of broad knowledge of contract funding terms and the Agency's policies and procedures
- Must possess a valid California driver's license, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance as this position travels in the field approximately 40% of the time

Position Summary: The Family Coaching & Visitation Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of the Family Coaching & Visitation (FCV) program. This position involves managing data, coordinating program schedule, ensuring timely reporting, and overseeing the overall workflow of family coaching visitation initiatives. The Program Coordinator will work closely with all FCV staff, maintain datasets, and generate reports to support the successful implementation of the programs.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred.
Excellent organizational, computer skills and customer skills required.
Demonstrated ability to organize self and others; to work independently and to take initiative; to prioritize and to proceed logically.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to assist with evaluations, surveys and general program data collection.
Ability to organize large meetings/functions as well as educate the general public regarding Family Service policies and services.
Data entry skills required.

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Negotiations & Deal Coaching to join our Pricing & Commercial Enablement (PCE) team in our Clients & Markets organization.
Responsibilities:- Coach client-facing leaders and Firm leadership (Partners, MDs, Directors) of all three functions (Advisory, Tax and Audit) on the subject of negotiation and pricing strategies; facilitate workshops to PMDs on negotiation and pricing strategy
- Support senior coaches with strategy, deal configuration, financial modeling and client negotiations of risk/reward (value-based) and creative pricing / billing modeling
- Contribute to multi-channel thought leadership that influences superior business behavior through cutting edge insights and proven approaches; partner with senior PCE leadership on long-term strategic initiatives as well as immediate growth priorities
- Educate account and pursuit teams in negotiation, pricing and commercial strategies that yield results that meet/exceed firm expectations; negotiate on behalf of the firm occasionally as second chair to KPMG executive first chair
- Contribute to creating training content and be lead facilitator of negotiations training for all three Firm functions
- Collaborate with global team and member firms on commercial contracting, training, pricing strategies and thought leadership
- Create and sharpen methodologies, curricula and tools in negotiation, pricing and commercial strategy
- Minimum twelve years of recent experience in the professional services industry serving clients or supporting client service with at least ten years of negotiations experience; direct client leadership and deal delivery experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; master's from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Command of interest-based negotiations methodology and professional services pricing models; able to participate in development of resource plans and structures to influence organizational priorities
- Strong executive presence, presentation skills and credibility to coach, teach and advise senior executives and sales teams on how to negotiate and price professional services as well as remediate troubled client relationships; excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated leader, with proven ability to drive outcomes on a complex program or project, requiring limited guidance for most decision making; substantial strategy and influencing skills to effectively partner with internal stakeholders
- Able to play a key execution role in strategic initiatives for the team while fostering development of high-performance culture and interfacing with all levels of the organization; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization
