+ Apply coatings to surfaces by use of hand painting tools
+ Clean and store paint tools and equipment after use
+ Maintain a clean and organized jobsite free from any unnecessary hazards associated with the work being performed by a paint crew.
+ Measure and mixing paint with a paint mixer
+ Monitor and maintaining a breathing air box during blasting operations

  • Capture results of inspection / observations and report in timely manner
  • Ensure suppliers /contractors have relevant, up to date codes, standards, specifications and drawings
  • Interface with the discipline engineer, construction engineer, field workers and inspectors in a professional manner
  • Witness and monitor suppliers / contractors work activities, inspection, and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures and etc.
  • Assist review of Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Quality Procedures and all pertained QA/QC documentation prior to commencement of any fabrication / construction work
  • Verify the implementation of PTW (permit to work) LOTO (lock-out and tag-out) and other safety procedures

+ Must have strong knowledge in proper operation and safety protocols working with various blasting equipment, such as sandblasters, UHP water blasters, pots, pumps, and hoppers, various hand tools and power tools.
+ Must be willing to learn all aspects of assigned tasks.
+ Must be proficient in and committed to all safety aspects of assigned tasks, including the proper usage of PPE, such as harnesses, hard hats, eye protection, gloves, and respiratory protection.
+ Must be able to safely lift work materials, up to 100 lbs.
+ Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
+ Must be able to safely maneuver into and work in confined spaces, through hatches and erected scaffolding, into ship hulls and interior tanks.
**Travel:** Must be willing to travel to job sites as current jobs require.
