We are looking for a code ninjas sensei to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our sensei are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem-solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Training - go through the curriculum and learn it
- Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
- Work with children to determine skill sets
- Provide feedback to parents after working with a student who is on a tour
- Follow opening/closing duties daily
- Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards
- Report weekly to Center Assistant Manager on progress
- Report daily to Center Manager with respect to day's activities and productivity in dojo
- Working history with children ages 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
- Experience in teaching, mentoring or child care
- Works well with others; collaborates
- Familiar with or eager to learn basic coding concepts. Experience with Minecraft, Roblox, robotics, or 3D printing is a plus!
- Must be fun to work with and like working in fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently
Mon-Fri 4pm-7pm (flexible schedule) and Saturday 10am to 1pm

Primary function of the job is to review construction plans and conduct field inspections of residential, commercial, and/or industrial buildings to determine and secure compliance with Codes and Ordinances.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include but are not limited to the following)

- Journey license in a building trade required.
- Registered or provisionally registered as an Inspector and must complete training and update requirements for regular registration renewals pursuant to the Building Officials and Inspectors Registration Act.

NATURE OF WORK
This position involves applying superior customer service skills to conduct investigative, technical and administrative work in the enforcement of the City Code of Ordinances, zoning code regulations, and property maintenance standards. Community Enhancement & Code Compliance aims to preserve and enhance the safety, appearance and economic stability of the Sunrise community through the diligent enforcement of applicable ordinances. Employees in this classification receive and investigate complaints, proactively patrol assigned geographic zone, educate residents and business owners regarding code requirements and violations, review inspection reports, determine violations and prepare Notices of Violation. Work involves performing field inspections as well as interpreting technical legal provisions and administrative directives pertaining to code enforcement. Working with diverse cultural and socioeconomic groups using tact, discretion, initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. Duties require the use of judgment and tact in explaining regulations to property owners, businesses and attorneys. Supervision is received from the Assistant Code Compliance Manager and Chief Code Compliance who provides assistance to achieve effective code enforcement. Annual Leave:
Annual leave may be taken as earned after completion of (90) calendar days. Maximum accumulation each fiscal year is 290 hours. Annual Leave Cash Out:

Floating Holidays:
Upon completion of (26) weeks of full-time employment with the City, employee shall be entitled to utilize up to five (5) floating holidays per fiscal year. Floating holidays shall not carry over to the next fiscal year.
Perfect Attendance:
For every six (6) months period (April 1 - September 30) and (October 1 - March 31) in which, no sick or unpaid leave is utilized, an employee shall receive ten (10) hours of annual leave credited. Employees who qualify for a consecutive Perfect Attendance benefit shall receive fourteen (14) hours of annual leave credited for each applicable consecutive earning period.
Sick Leave:
Each employee earns (96) hours (12 days) of sick leave annually with no waiting period for use and unlimited accrual. Upon separation of City employment due to resignation, employee shall receive payment of all accrued sick leave at a rate of twenty-five percent (25%) of the employee's current rate of pay at time of resignation. Upon separation of employment due to retirement, employee shall receive payment of all accrued sick leave at a rate of fifty percent (50%) of the employee's current rate of pay at the time of retirement.
Sick Leave Conversion:
After completion of one (1) year of continuous, full-time employment with the City, an employee may convert their unused portion of their first six (6) days (maximum of forty-eight (48) hours) of accrued sick leave into annual leave. Conversions are subject to the following: A minimum of 96 unused sick leave hours accrued prior to hours being converted, total eligible sick leave hours to be converted shall be reduced hour-for-hour by any sick leave hours utilized during the eligible benefit period, and conversion subject to annual leave accrual cap.
Bereavement:
Qualifying City-paid Bereavement Leave as follows:
• In State = Up to 3 Days
• Out of State = Up to 5 Days
Tuition Reimbursement:
After one (1) year of full-time employment

Perform complex and sensitive field inspections and investigations to enforce state regulations and County codes and ordinances governing land use issues, using thorough knowledge of Arizona inspection and investigation protocols, review plans and technical drawings, and verify compliance to codes and regulations under basic supervision.
Example of Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Investigate complex and sensitive field inspections and investigations of zoning and ordinance complaints and violations in un-incorporated areas of Pinal County, using thorough knowledge of Arizona inspection and investigation protocols and coordinate with other agencies as needed.
- Patrol County to check for code violations and monitor construction sites and other high-risk areas to enforce the County's planning and zoning regulations and property maintenance standards.
- Perform field inspections and investigations to maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for County residents and businesses, document details of site inspections, and enforce County codes encompassing safety and health hazards, nuisance abatement, land use, and other compliance regulations within scope of authority.
- Respond to complaints of potential code violations relating to safety controls, signs, hazards, permits, land use, zoning, dumping, mobile homes, abandoned vehicles and other violations, compare facts to code requirements, contact individuals to discuss violations and alternatives for resolving compliance issues, interview complainants, witnesses, and violators, and research property and permit records.
- Interpret and explain codes, code enforcement rules, and policies and procedures to property owners and the general public and provide information and recommendations within scope of authority.
- Identify, document, and communicate deficiencies, deviations from plans, and non-compliance with regulations, issue correction notices and meet with homeowners to discuss project issues and concerns, and refer problems, conflicts, and persistent non-compliance issues to supervisor.
- Communicate with other County departments and regional agencies as needed, assist the public, and provide technical information on land use and zoning classifications.
- Maintains and updates inspection records, project documentation and project files.
- Assist with preparing prosecution cases and OSC/dismissal/plea letters for Hearing Office and Superior Court.
- Prepare case files, documents, evidence, reports and background data to substantiate violations, prepare and present case reports for court and administrative hearings, and testify as needed.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records and restricted County information.

- Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Public or Business Administration, or a construction related field; and
- Some (1-3 years) experience in construction, planning, building inspection, human services, or law enforcement; or

- Thorough knowledge of City ordinances and associated codes;
- Thorough knowledge of relevant State codes;

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled ASME Code Welder to join our Tulsa fabrication team. The ASME Code Welder will be responsible for performing precision structural and pressure component welds in compliance with ASME standards and customer specifications.
Required Experience & Skills
- Must pass 2G GMAW root / FCAW fill and cap weld test li>Proven expertise in ASME code welding
- Ability to interpret blueprints and welding procedures
- Experience welding structural and pressure components
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and quality compliance
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform ASME code welds using GMAW and FCAW processes
