As our brand continues to rapidly grow, we’re looking for a talented and motivated General Manager/ Barista to join our team!
What makes our dream General Manager?
- You can jump right in and make the perfect cortado. That likely means you have 3-year (or more) experience in a specialty coffee environment, and that you can operate a manual espresso machine like La Marzocco in your sleep.
- You can dial-in mean shots and produce beautiful latte art and you’re super passionate about all-things-coffee.
- You’re fun to work with and to be around. We’d be happy to wake up early in the morning to work a shift with you, and you’ll always provide our customers with a friendly and welcoming experience.
- You have previous experience with managing inventory and doing stock count
- You can manage store stock and place orders with vendors
- You're able to preform opening and closing shift and manage the day to day operation
- You’re proactive, invested in what you do, and take pride in your craft.
- You have availability to work weekends.
- A must have: Having a New York Food Handlers’ Certificate.

Oversee loss prevention, ensuring that expired goods and excess waste is kept to an absolute minimum, and that any wasted product is accounted for. Helps maintain the upkeep of all equipment located inside the Cafe, including fridges, freezers, espresso machine, and point-of-sale system. Assists with monitoring housekeeping and sanitation standards. Follows proper cash handling and guest check procedures. Effectively communicates with everyone, from upper management to managers on duty and other Team Members, to guests, to vendors.
Minimum qualifications: Prior work experience in a cafe as a Barista or similar position. Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines. Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills. Has demonstrated exceptional customer service. General food and beverage knowledge. Good math skills. Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software.
