Position Overview
This position is responsible for the creation of loan/collateral files, uploading applicable documentation into the Bank's imaging system and follow up on post-closing related items, which includes obtaining liens on vehicle titles, recorded mortgages, final title policies, insurance follow-up, UCC portfolio management. In addition, processing collateral releases in accordance with the paid loan process, preparing payoff letters and document retention.
Essential Job Functions
- Indexes and scans loan documents into OnBase storage system.
- Maintains organized physical files and records.
- Insurance monitoring and tracking for insurance expirations.
- Obtains the banks lien on vehicle titles, either physical or ELT.
- Monitors the UCC portfolio for pending expirations as well as resolves any exception related items encountered with filing exceptions.
- Prepares Payoff Letters in accordance with Bank Procedures and Regulations.
- Processes incoming Service Requests related to the Collateral Management Team.
- Records Mortgages, as needed, for the Consumer/Residential Department.
- Generates releases of collateral on paid loans in accordance with regulation and the paid loan process.
- Provides release/paid documents to 3rd party mortgage servicing vendor.
- Organizes and releases customer purchased tax certificates and floor plan titles.
- Assists with document collection for loan support projects and audits.
- Provide responses to Subpoena or Summons requests for loan documentation.
- Responsible for complying with all Bank policies and Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and one or more years' experience in consumer or commercial documentation, or related; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies
- Knowledge of consumer and commercial compliance regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Location Details
This position requires the incumbent to work onsite on a daily basis to perform the regular responsibilities of the role.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay: $0.10- 26.00

Position Summary: Provides administrative support needed to manage the receipt, tracking, follow-up, recording and storage of collateral documents. Also assists in the researching and obtaining missing collateral document.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinates obtaining, tracking, follow-up, and storage of collateral documents.
- Assists with researching issues regarding collateral files and documents.
- Inventory documents in collateral files.
- Image collateral documents as received.
- Obtains signatures, prepare, submit for recording as applicable, and track documents as needed.
- Posts closing legal / compliance review and exception clearing per investor requirements.
- Provides support to peers/managers within the corporation relative to collateral documents as needed.
- Provides internal and external support to Investor community and all major Agencies.
- Works incoming document queues to identify documents for indexing.
- Assists with letter campaigns.
- Assists with department special projects.
- Assists manager in identifying and implementing long-term projects and process / procedure improvements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Client is seeking an Operations IT Business Analyst to support the firm's Collateral Management lines for Derivatives (ISDA/CSA) and Financed (GMRA/MSFTA) products. Includes directly supporting users on various platform's workflow processes, maintaining data and responding to internal data audit requests. May lead various small to mid-sized project's requirements gathering as well. This is a challenging position requiring a strong, proven experience in business analysis, design, delivery, some project management and people management domains. The role asks the candidate to propose and deliver solutions for Information Technology, specifically for Back Office / Operations IT. Previous experience working on Colline product is very good to have. The candidate will play a critical role in driving system enhancements, analyzing complex datasets, and supporting the full project lifecycle including testing and documentation.
Successful candidates must be experienced in identifying and analyzing technology and process problems, developing business requirements and solutions for tactical and/or strategic projects, in collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders across the organization. **Role Description**
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is hiring an Associate or Analyst in the Collateral Management Group within the Securitized Products and Capital solutions (SPCS) Department. This position will be responsible for performing collateral screening for approval of Broadly Syndicated Loan (BSL) Warehouse Facilities. Manage this process for several open warehouse facilities at a given time. Periodic/monthly updating of key loan data on approved collateral. Conduct monitoring of loan portfolio / provide research and analytics / other tasks as required.
**Role Objectives**
+ Perform analysis for screening of loan collateral for inclusion in warehouse financing facilities.
+ Prepare summary collateral approval requests for review by SPCS management.
+ Conduct regular monitoring and support the overall management of the portfolio. Update key metrics on approved collateral.
+ Coordinate information flow among departments and other parties to the transaction to assess performance of the loan portfolio.
+ Liaise with middle- and back-office for necessary reporting and facility management purposes.
+ Assist in broader Collateral team efforts in BSL or Middle Market efforts as workflow permits.

**Job Summary:**
As a Collateral Analyst you'll support the Commodity & Structured Trade Finance business line in all aspects of transaction / collateral management, administration of credit facilities and risk analysis. The primary responsibilities include maintaining a portfolio of committed and uncommitted credits by coordinating with relationship managers, portfolio managers, product partners and operations departments to facilitate the booking of credit facilities and execution of daily financing activities (loans, LCs, payments, receivable purchases, bills of exchange discounting, etc.), and managing related risks through ongoing analysis and monitoring of the bank's collateral.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Daily interaction with clients, relationship managers, portfolio managers, trade service operations, loan operations, and other internal departments as required.
+ Monitor transactional and related collateral to ensure client positions are within approved limits.
+ Review borrowing / LC / payment / receivable purchase requests, and coordinate with back/middle office for the execution of transactions. Address a borrower's inquiries.
+ Review term sheets, draft agreements/amendments, credit approval and write-up. Participate in deal discussions, and coordinate with back/middle office for closing a facility.
+ For agency deals, monitoring credit facilities (i.e. credit limit, sub-limits, intra-day activities, etc.), validate borrower's requests and provide approval. Address lender's/borrower's inquiries. Facilitate LC reconciliation process with issuing bank/back office/borrower.
+ Analyze borrowing base prepared/provided by clients (i.e. review supporting detail, verify advance rate calculations, verify mark-to-market pricing for inventory, ensure that accounts receivable are within approved lender limits.). Observe trends and understand the business cycles. Discuss any discrepancies or deviations with relationship manager and the team leader of CMG.
+ For secured transactional facilities, review of individual transaction requests (loans and LCs) in conjunction with monitoring of collateral by analyzing and interpreting underlying collateral (inventory/receivables/Bills of Lading, etc), review of commercial contracts and verification of underlying commodity prices.
+ Review and analyze position reports and mark-to-market reports. Discuss any discrepancies or deviations with relationship manager and the team leader of CMG.
+ Assess the Bank's exposure and provide timely alerts to relevant parties of adverse developments or deterioration in the risk profile.
**Skills & Experience:**
+ Undergraduate degree in finance or related business field or equivalent work experience.
+ 1-4 years of work experience within a financial institution. A solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting, trade finance products (e.g. letter of credit, receivable purchase, bill of exchange discounting, etc.), and banking operations is desirable.
+ Previous experience with trade finance, commodities lending and/or commodities collateral management at a commercial bank is preferred.
+ Working knowledge of the systems utilized by the bank is a plus: ACBS, OVS, Trade 360, LoanApp.
+ Team player with intellectual curiosity; ability to work independently and under pressure; strong problem solving and communication skills; good analytical skills; proactive attitude, flexible, critical thinker and results driven.

**Compensation & Benefits:**
The typical base pay range for this role is between $95k-$135k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location with eligibility for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. The Document Management Collateral Specialist handles mortgage collateral documents and is responsible for processing requests from various business partners for collecting loan collateral documents from our custodians. This will include accurate and timely recording, tracking, safekeeping of original documents, and release of the collateral to respective parties.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Process incoming request from various departments
- Receive, sort, scan, file and ship collateral.
- Organize and ensure the safekeeping of loan collateral documents in fire proof file cabinets.
- Responsible for verifying all collateral documents are present, audit documents for original vs. copies.
- Ensure data within the system is current, accurate, and complete with status in Lakewood, Fiserv, CTS or any other tracking system
- Provide requested documents to the Servicers within specified timelines
- Generate transmittals which lists each document/file being shipped to servicer/requestor
- Establish organizational skills which will allow filing of returned documents to stay current and accurate
- Gather information, pull required collateral documents/files for upcoming transfers/sales
- Establish effective working relationship with all applicable contacts
- Perform inventory checks of collateral files to ensure safe keeping of original documents
- To assist with requests to/from various Freedom document custodians
