We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will schedule and dispatch drivers to the appropriate locations and times while keeping constant communication with our clients, drivers and management. You will receive emergency and non-emergency calls and make quick decisions to ensure the proper action is taken. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. (MUST have commercial driver license, Bus Operator Trainees are encouraged to apply)
Responsibilities
- Monitor and communicate routes, location, and driver status with management and clients using the online Samsara GPS program.
- Answers phones, provides general information, and determines specific service needs; uses computerized scheduling system and manual system to make transit schedules.
- Continuous communication with management regarding check-in drivers, discuss daily route assignments, and answering questions.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure driver gaps, late pickups, late departures, and other incidents are relayed to all parties.
- Assists the Supervisor with preparation of work assignments for transportation drivers; makes adjustments, alerts drivers to any changes; researches addresses and verifies destination information.
- Assists with daily issues that may arise and provides resolution.
- Communicates with drivers using radio & phones to discuss and schedule customer service requests and traffic & scheduling problems.
- Performs administrative and clerical functions as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position
- CDL - YOU MUST HAVE A COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSE
- Excellent typing and data entry skills

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable CDL Instructor to prepare students for a successful career in the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial driving, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to fostering safe and skilled professional drivers. The CDL Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive classroom instruction and hands-on training to prepare students for their Commercial Driver's License exams and careers as professional drivers.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL with ability to obtain Class A and a clean driving record.
- North Dakota teaching certification or willingness to obtain.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle operation.

- Prepare students for written, skills, and road tests required for CDL certification.
- Provide personalized feedback and support to help students overcome challenges and achieve mastery of driving techniques.
- Promote the importance of safety in all aspects of commercial driving, including load management, defensive driving, and accident prevention.
- Ensure all training activities comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain training vehicles in good working order by performing basic inspections and coordinating repairs as needed.
- Ensure students are trained to conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as required by DOT regulations.
