**ROLE SUMMARY:**
We're looking for a seasoned Packaging Design Manager with a sharp eye for design, a deep understanding of consumer packaged goods, and experience bringing brands to life on shelves and in stores. This role goes beyond box design-you'll concept, design, and execute packaging that stands out in crowded retail spaces, from core products to limited-time offerings. **REQUIREMENTS:**
+ 6+ years of experience in packaging design, ideally within a CPG personal care brand
+ Strong portfolio showcasing packaging, retail displays, and LTO/seasonal work
+ Proven ability to manage projects from concept through to production
+ 1-2+ years of experience mentoring or managing junior designers or production staff
+ Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with 3D/mockup tools
+ Strong understanding of print production, dielines, materials, and retail merchandising

Job Summary
The College of Liberal Arts at Oregon State University ( OSU ) - Cascades in Bend, Oregon invites applications for a full time (1.00 FTE ), 9-month, fixed-term Instructor of Graphic Design position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to teach (and potentially develop) undergraduate courses on-campus in areas of graphic design such as: typography, design tools + techniques, interaction design, design thinking, information design, branding systems, package design, professional development, design theory, graphic design history, etc.
The successful candidate will promote diversity through their pedagogy and student mentoring, as well as collaborate with OSU -Cascades in interdisciplinary community outreach efforts around diversity and the arts. The position is renewable yearly with opportunity for promotion to Senior Instructor.
OSU -Cascades, located in Bend, Oregon, is a branch campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, OSU -Cascades now enrolls more than 1000 students in bachelor's and master's degree programs. OSU -Cascades currently offers upper division undergraduate and graduate courses.

Key Responsibilities
80%- Teach and provide mentoring. Initial assignments will be implementing and delivering instruction in undergraduate Graphic Design, Art or AMT courses and mentoring students in the area.
10%- Maintain currency in the field through activities that lead to personal investment and growth within an area of expertise (either the instructor's discipline and/or educational pedagogy). This may include, but is not limited to, any of the following: Maintain familiarity with recent developments in evidence-based instructional practices through literature review, workshops, conferences or other activities Maintain currency in academic discipline through professional workshops, conferences, or other professional development activities. Disseminate ideas and methods within the program, university, and broader community.
10%- Serve on Oregon State University-Cascades committees and service to the community; and other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need
+ Master's degree in discipline appropriate to the field of teaching/instructional tasks.
+ Minimum two years of teaching experience at the university level.

Position Description
The role of the Multimedia VISTA is to improve systems and processes to visually document and communicate through photo and video Sanneh programs to improve learning outcomes for diverse and low-income youth. Create improved collateral materials (digital or printed material) through graphic design to raise awareness of Sanneh programs to improve learning outcomes for diverse and low-income youth.
Role and Responsibilities
Quarter 1: Review Sustainability Materials from Prior VISTA
Learn Sanneh organizational history, become familiar with core program, activities, and major events- Assess and become familiar with organizational tools available for photo and video production
Become familiar with current process and system of photo and video archiving
Identify internal and external learning opportunities and professional development resources to increase knowledge and skills related to photography and video production.
Quarter 2
Assess and identify areas of opportunity to improve organization systems for photo and video archiving.
Improve processes to visually document Sanneh program activities and organizational impact through photography and videography.

Compensation & Benefits
AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers receive benefits during and after their service as they make a difference across America. AmeriCorps compensation does not count as income for Social Security benefits.
Pay rate - $957.46 bi-weekly (before taxes). Segal Education Award - $7,395 (before taxes, based on Pell Grant) is distributed via MyAmeriCorps.gov following a full term of service.
