POSITION SUMMARY:
The Commercial Program Specialist role is an individual contributor and reports to the Direct Marketing Support Manager. This individual will have the opportunity to interact with field teams, vendors, and key business partners. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter, proficient in Microsoft Suite (Salesforce and SAP knowledge is a plus), and a willingness to learn and support both internally developed and third-party programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develops, communicates, and implements new concepts and plans for internal and external events and meetings.
+ Manages the delivery of outbound communications to the Direct Dealer network and field operations teams.
+ Represents Commercial within cross-functional teams tasked with development and deployment of key initiatives and innovations.
+ Collaborates with regional teams to build programs that resonate within each market.
+ Works closely with current Program vendors to ensure program implementation, ongoing performance, and success. Manage day-to-day relationships with applicable vendors to efficiently meet the strategic Plan goals and objectives.
+ Manages, implements, and reports on key programs that support the delivery of the Direct Dealer business. Includes the management of program budgets, invoice processing and the purchase requisition process.
+ Involved with selection of venues, program planning, agenda development, collaborating with event planning vendors and leadership team.
+ Negotiate costs with outside vendors, and ensure vendors deliver on services as agreed.
+ Handle operational and administrative functions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
+ Analyze the success of an event and prepare post-event reporting to determine areas to improve or eliminate.
+ Develops various tools that measure the compliance of promotional activities.
+ Collaborates with key business personnel, the legal team, business partners, and vendors.
+ Manages and/or supports various projects as assigned and looks for business improvement opportunities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Finance, or other related discipline required or five (5) years of marketing, brand, analytics, supply chain, or other related experience in lieu.
+ Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in marketing, brand, analytics, supply chain, or other related area required.
+ Must have strong Microsoft Suite skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
+ Ability to understand project milestones, including deadlines.
+ Effective communication skills, and attention to detail.
+ Fully competent, experienced professional; ability to take initiatives without being prompted.
+ Demonstrates in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge.
