Here's how a Commissioning Engineer for our Civil Infrastructure office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**
+ Provides technical oversight for engineering aspects of projects
+ Reviews and interpret project plans and specifications regarding commissioning and translates into actionable deliverables
+ Creation and interpretation of Start-up plans
+ Provides coordination with suppliers and vendors
+ Provides RFI Coordination
+ Provides technical input during commissioning planning and execution phases
+ Manages the preparation, review, and submission of project submittals
+ Ensures that all required documentation, materials, and equipment submittals are accurate and comply with project specifications
+ Implements quality assurance measures
+ Addresses and resolves technical issues that may arise during project execution
+ Identifies opportunities for process improvement within the engineering function
+ Reviews and understands broader contract obligations as per the responsible project and work scopes. Assists with project start-up activities
+ Participates in reviews of subcontractors' submittals for compliance with scope, design documentation, and coordination with other disciplines against the design documentation prior to forwarding to the design team for their review
+ Assists with site inspection by the design team for installation deficiencies and witnesses and signs off on systems commissioning
+ Other duties as required
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
+ 5-8 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred.
+ 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commissioning and startup for complex systems
+ Familiarity with industry standards and codes governing commissioning of building systems
+ Expertise in Instrumentation and Control (I&C)
+ Proficiency in Systems Integration
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Effective communication skills, both oral and written
+ Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively
+ Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
+ Industry certifications such as Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or LEED Accredited Professional are advantageous.

The salary range for this position is between $93,000-$120,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

They take Ownership of their projects' successes by Diving Deep to resolve technical issues and having Bias for Action to address everchanging schedule and coordination demands onsite. Additionally, CxEs communicate lessons learned and continuously collaborate on program improvements.
The CxE shall provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects. In addition, the CxE will be required to review component submittal packages, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), perform system level and integrated system testing. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience
- High technical competency in either mechanical or electrical or control systems utilized in critical infrastructures, with the capability to learn and be trained in the others
- Understand the design concept and intent by reviewing mechanical or electrical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, vendor submittals and sequences of operations and provide feedback on the same in accordance with Amazon standards for basis of design
-Develop but majorly review commissioning documentation such as test plans, scripts and reports developed by vendors to ensure accuracy in accordance with the design requirements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $86,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. **Position Overview**
**Power your Future with Qualus** as a Commissioning Engineer/Agent with Qualus in our Field Engineering department! The incumbent will come with a strong background in planning and executing large-scale substation projects. Skilled in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontracts, and ensuring quality control, the role will oversee commissioning activities, prepare detailed documentation and verify system integrity through visual checks and functional testing.
Travel for this role will be mainly located in a 300-mile radius of Amarillo, Texas including Oklahoma & New Mexico.
**Responsibilities**
+ Plan, schedule, and perform work for large projects and programs.
+ Responsible for defining appropriate visual checks, measurements and tests that will be required to verify that the design and construction of a substation modification is appropriate for the intended application.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to play a key role in ensuring our membrane filtration systems deliver exceptional performance. In this position, you will work directly with customers and collaborate across all levels of the organization, making a real impact on our service quality and customer satisfaction. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our equipment, including executing preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating short-term planning, and troubleshooting control systems. Responsibilities
+ Support the preparation of customer sites for installation and commissioning of processing equipment.
