Experience with at least one scripting and one programming language (ideally Python & C++). Responsibilities

Primary:

Media & Public Relations

  • Promote ADL content with local media outlets to leverage findings from ADL to support regional and divisional team members in changing the narrative around antisemitism and extremism.
  • Manage rapid response with local media outlets including but not limited to local regional issues and national/international issues with local take.
  • Build meaningful long-term relationships with key print, broadcast, and social media outlets throughout the Division.
  • Develop relationships with key reporters and editorial boards to secure coverage highlighting ADL’s issues, leaders, and thought leadership.
  • Respond to and coordinate media inquiries, interview requests, and proactive outreach on issues for Divisional and Regional team members, working alongside the national communications team as needed.
  • Identify and prepare ADL team members for interviews with talking points and prep sessions as needed.
  • Monitor news for coverage on issues corresponding to ADL’s mission in collaboration with regional team members
  • Draft press materials, including press releases, statements and comments, op-eds, talking points, fact-sheets, and more.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify and cultivate coverage opportunities to raise public awareness of ADL issues, programs, and individuals.
  • Collaborate with ADL national communications team to ensure alignment on strategy, tactics, and messaging.

Promotion and Dissemination of ADL Events and Resources

  • Support Regional social media accounts by reviewing content to ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate with the national communications team to amplify the ADL’s national social channels and elevate Regional posts to be shared by national accounts.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate media, social, and email metrics to relevant colleagues

Secondary:

  • In coordination with the Division Vice President, Director of Philanthropic Outreach and Regional Directors, serve as a spokesperson to local media as needed.

  • Draft website and other non-media related content on a limited basis as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with calling veterans for required information in order to schedule appointments.

- Assist with rescheduling calls.

To support the delivery of effective internal communications and engagement campaigns across Maximus, working closely with a variety of stakeholders to communicate important messages and initiatives in line with the employee communication strategy.

Work with stakeholders to plan, draft, and create compelling copy and deliver engaging campaigns for our internal communications channels, including:

• Leading on or supporting high-profile campaigns to ensure successful delivery

• Developing and delivering internal communications plans to support business wide campaigns and projects

• Drafting and publishing engaging news articles that inform, engage, and inspire colleagues

• Updating existing content on channels to ensure it's accurate and relevant

• Building and issuing targeted emails for internal audiences to inform and drive action

• Supporting colleague call/video recordings by organising, scripting etc.

• Creating content for social channels that engage colleagues and helps create discussion

• Supporting with internal events and roadshows so that they're impactful and run seamlessly

• Developing eye-catching and informative collateral for offices and sites (posters, flyers etc.)

• Creating screensavers to support wider campaigns

• Liaising with the Design team and other suppliers to help deliver engaging campaigns

Supporting, guiding, and supervising other executives where necessary to achieve the overall team objectives, including:

• Supporting and supervising the team of Executives to help them deliver work effectively, consistently, and at a high standard. For example, using and perfecting communication processes, managing stakeholders, and writing in our tone of voice

• Guiding executives on the communications standards required

• Proofreading content to check for accuracy and grammatical errors

• Ensuring communications are consistent and brand compliant

• Taking ownership of activities and tasks to support the team

Work alongside the employee communications managers and senior manager to deliver high-quality, creative, and engaging communication solutions for:

• Purpose, values, strategy

• Leadership events

• Change, divisional and operational comms

• Diversity and Inclusion

• Talent and Development initiatives

• Engagement activities including the employee life cycle

• Well being initiatives

• Recognition schemes

• Compensation and Benefits communications

• Recruitment projects and communications

Support members of the wider team where necessary to achieve the overall team objectives, including:

• Proofreading content to check for accuracy and grammatical errors

• Ensuring communications are consistent and brand compliant

• Taking ownership of activities and tasks to support the team

Work with the internal design team, drafting design briefs for internal campaigns, collateral and communications channels.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of delivering compelling internal communications

• Experience of supporting on internal projects and campaigns

• Experience of supporting events for internal colleagues

• Qualification in a Communications or Marketing related discipline or significant relevant industry experience.

**Job Description**
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Global Medical Strategy Team with a focus on Multiple Myeloma. In this role, you will have an opportunity to be part of one an impactful medical advancement in patient care and work towards better outcomes for patients with hematological malignancies.
Your focus will be to partner with the Global Medical Multiple Myeloma Strategy Lead and be responsible for a range of key projects that are aligned to business needs. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the Medical Review of Promotional and/or Medical Affairs materials to ensure the communication is accurate, consistent, and aligned. You will be empowered to serve as an internal medical expert on medical review for promotion or drug products.
These could include but not be limited to strategic development and overall tactical implementation of Medical Affairs activities related to the lifecycle management of the product & where relevant early and late-stage pipeline launch indications. This role will report to the Global Medical Affairs Strategy lead and will work in partnership with the Multiple Myeloma team to perform all aspects of the role.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Communicates and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to cultivate a positive relationship
+ Provide medical review to ensure statements are scientifically valid and accurate, truthful and not misleading, and promotional claims are scientifically supported including, appropriateness of references cited
+ Provide solution oriented feedback and work collaboratively with cross-functional team members such as: legal, regulatory, marketing
+ Fully comply with Kite/Gilead policies and applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards, and make decisions within guidelines and policies
+ Maintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature, treatment guidelines, internal resources and data
**Skills and Competencies:**
+ Strong operational capabilities, detail oriented and commitment to advance and adhere to processes
+ Able to network with internal and partner stakeholders embracing cross-functional collaboration in a compliant manner
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to evaluate scientific data and medical literature
+ Ability to work well in a team and collaborate in a complex matrix environment

**Basic Qualifications:**
Doctorate Degree and 2+ years of medical affairs or oncology experience
OR
Master's Degree and 6+ years of medical affairs or oncology experience OR
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of medical affairs or oncology experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Advanced Medical/Life Science degree (M.D., Pharm. D, PhD or qualification in Life Sciences, Immunology, or Oncology)
+ Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with an expertise in cell therapy and Multiple Myeloma
+ Demonstrated experience within Medical Affairs with emphasis on content management systems (Veeva Vault or similar)
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Sound organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environment
+ Demonstrated ability to work across a cross functional matrix
+ Self-starter with "can do" attitude
+ Able to travel to domestic and international conferences (travel 20%)
The salary range for this position is: $153,935.00 - $199,210.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.   • You’ll own day to day social media activity, driving engagement and increasing followership
  • You’ll produce eye-catching content and engaging caption copy for all social channels
  • You’ll design, execute and share monthly social media dashboards, reporting on KPIs and insights to improve our position across all social channels

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have 1-2+ years of experience in social media, with strong video, photography and written communication skills
