**Position Overview:**
Our internship program is designed for students enrolled in an accredited university or college who are interested in developing on-the-job skills, experiences and insights that last a lifetime. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will have opportunities to learn about several areas of our business, network and collaborate with Ball leaders, and get involved in challenging project work.
Internal Communications Interns will gain knowledge of internal messaging, employee engagement and strategic communications across a global organization.
**What Youll Do:**
+ Contribute to real-time communications across our internal channels, executive messaging and employee-focused events, helping ensure our workforce remains informed, inspired and engaged.
+ Assist in developing and editing engaging communications content, including email announcements, newsletter and intranet content, videos, presentations and more.
+ Help coordinate communications for organizational changes, promotions and key initiatives.
+ Participate in planning and execution of employee engagement campaigns.
+ Monitor feedback channels and assist in analyzing communications effectiveness.
+ Collaborate across the global communications team, as well as across businesses, regions and functions to ensure consistent messaging.
+ Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improving communication strategies.
+ Attend professional development activities, including a professional development week at our corporate headquarters in Colorado.
**What We Are Seeking:**
+ Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or other related discipline at an accredited 4-year college or university.
+ Completed at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
+ Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
+ Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, including use of AP Style.
+ Familiarity with digital communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Canva, Adobe).

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Native-level English proficiency (written and verbal) and professional-level Spanish fluency.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related discipline, ideally in an international or multicultural environment.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale communication projects and campaigns with measurable impact.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for multiple audiences and platforms.
