Job Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports and presentations to city review boards and city councils.
- Selecting the most effective project team (architects, structural and MEP engineers, FLS consultant, communications consultant, etc., if and when required), directing the design development and coordination of the consultants at the appropriate phases, and ensuring that the design intent meets the project's financial, leasing, and operational objectives.
- Researching new and updated municipal programs and regulations as it relates to the development project; review of development proposals and site plans for conformance with codes, plans, and regulations; collect, collate, and prepare reports on development projects, including land use, census information, tax base data, comp set data, and occupancy rates; evaluating re-zoning, ordinance amendments, site plans, special use permits, variances and other land-use submittals for developments; liaison between Company and community groups, government agencies, HOAs and elected officials; coordinate and oversee community review of public and private development projects; provides information to the public regarding developments.
- Ensuring the project schedule is met.
- Creating and updating the development analyses.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Land-use and permit expediting experience working on discretionary entitlements for 8 years
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach building codes and permitting process – experience of 2 years each.
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local and national architects, developers, land use attorneys, engineers, planners, and/or land owners, as well as local jurisdictional staff.
- Experienced in due diligence matters in acquisition and development, including physical review, surveys, site plans, architectural drawings, and zoning ordinance review.

Burns & McDonnell is actively seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist - Land Use, Siting & Routing for our Denver, CO, office. The position will support our project management team to successfully complete routing and siting studies, local government permitting, and environmental permitting.

The candidate will execute tasks for both small and large-scale projects including but not limited to assisting with developing proposals and cost estimates, executing project tasks, and assisting with developing strategic plans associated with electric or other infrastructure related projects. The candidate will support and execute environmental projects and be a technical author on various routing and siting documents and environmental permit applications. Tasks include developing permit matrices, completion of permit applications, evaluating land use/zoning and environmental factors for project development, and analyzing local and environmental data to support alternative analysis documents for various types of projects, including high-voltage transmission line routing, renewables, power generation construction activities, and pipelines.

**Qualifications**

+ Specific experience in electric transmission, transportation, renewables, and other similar markets is preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. **About The Role:**
As a CBRE Occupancy Planner, you will provide space planning, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of space planning metrics for a small to medium-sized client's needs.
This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function. They are responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Review space requirements and provide conceptual plans and recommendations to the real estate team or stakeholders.
+ Assist with creating block or stack plans and move lists.
+ Produce drawings and presentations for internal partners and client-facing steering committee meetings for review and feedback.
+ Collaborate with other team members to gain business intelligence including move and relocation sequencing and execution.
+ Attend client meetings, draft meeting minutes, and obtain approvals to proceed when required.
+ May attend space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics.
+ Responsible for entering and maintaining occupancy data within the system of record.
+ Prepare forecasts and evaluate space planning trends in general business conditions.
+ Conduct interviews and discussions with clients to capture, coordinate and synthesize project requirements, and functional, operational, and cultural issues.
+ Partner with Architectural Vendors and Project Management to investigate code requirements and city or county permits when moving or reconfiguring office space.
+ Facilitate post-occupancy support and reviews to ensure deliverables were executed and client's expectations were met.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Impact the quality of own work.
+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
