Guidelines for Class Use: Under the supervision of the Senior Center Coordinator, the Community Services Clerk provides clerical, program, and membership support for the Human and Social Services Department. This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations, senior center programs, and membership/registration processing. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, program logistics, technology assistance, customer service, and occasional donor correspondence. - Answers phones, transfers calls, and takes messages; receives and directs visitors.
- Assists with senior center programs, including logistics, attendance tracking, classroom setup, and event support.
- Assists with technology setup, troubleshooting, and supply inventories.
- Compiles and prepares reports; sorts, codes, and files materials; maintains logs and records.
- Creates, maintains, and updates departmental records, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Performs daily office functions, including copying, filing, mail processing, and supply ordering.
- Performs light physical tasks such as setting up rooms and moving event materials.
- Prepares correspondence, including donor thank-you letters and in memoriam acknowledgments.
- Processes membership forms, enters membership data, and registers members for classes/events in MySeniorCenter (MSC).
- Provides professional and courteous customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
- Provides setup assistance for all programs and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized senior center.
- Supports program planning, including movie selection, events, communications, and activity coordination.

SCOPE OF ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Ryan White Program, the Coordinator, Community Services-Ryan White Program will be key in the development and execution of client treatment plans. **Minimum Qualifications:** Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Three (3) years clerical/secretarial experience in position with extensive customer contact.
**Preferred Qualifications:** Ability to read, write, speak and translate one or more foreign language specific to the foreign patients. Knowledge of medical terminology.
