About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the transformation of community care services. The CMO will be the senior clinical executive, responsible for shaping and executing the clinical vision and strategy across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care, with a focus on integrated health programs that extend across the entire continuum of care. The successful candidate will provide strategic clinical leadership, oversee clinical quality programs, and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance. They will also be instrumental in the development of new clinical programs, particularly those that are value-based and integrated, and will serve as the primary clinical liaison to both internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants for the CMO position must have an MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license, and board certification in a relevant specialty. A minimum of 15 years of clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a senior clinical leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in clinical quality, utilization management, and regulatory compliance, as well as proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Advanced training in healthcare administration, public health, or clinical informatics, and experience with Veterans or military healthcare systems, are preferred. The role demands a leader who can mentor and promote professional development, and who is committed to the mission of improving health outcomes and reducing costs while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Applies social work expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities through a systems model for the Section of Social Work staff including, orientation, professional development, and competency programs. Knowledgeable of all requirements of social work job descriptions: Social Worker and LCSW. Knowledgeable of the purpose and role of the Social Work intern. Roles of the Social Work Education Specialist (SWES) include educator, clinical supervisor, facilitator, change agent, task supervisor, collaborator, advisor, mentor, consultant, researcher and leader. Also fulfills all the requirements described in the LCSW job description, carrying a clinical case load in an area designated by the director.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work. Completion of 30 hours of supervision training required by the Board of Social Work. Experience in educational programming, orientation, internship field instruction/task supervision or equivalent. Demonstrated teaching skills. Licensure at the LCSW level with one year post-LCSW experience in a medical setting.
