Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy

  • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with business objectives and talent needs.
  • Develop and manage policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage and monitor company-wide OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to ensure alignment with business priorities and measurable progress toward goals.

Payroll & 401(k) Administration

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely payroll using Paycor, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Process payroll changes, deductions, and adjustments, maintaining precise records and documentation.
  • Administer and reconcile 401(k) contributions and loans, ensuring timely submission to the plan provider.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and 401(k) with professionalism and accuracy.

Compensation Management

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures.
  • Develop and maintain salary structures, job evaluation systems, and performance-based pay programs.
  • Manage the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and bonuses.
  • Advise HR and leaders on compensation matters and facilitate the Compensation Committee.
  • Administer and optimize compensation software (Salary.com) and contribute to industry surveys (e.g., Salary.com).

Benefits Administration

  • In partnership with The Baldwin Group, design, implement, and manage benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary plans.

Incentive Programs

  • Develop and manage organizational incentive plans (bonuses, commissions, executive compensation) in collaboration with Finance and leadership.

Employee Leave & Workers’ Compensation

  • Oversee all leave management processes, ergonomic accommodations, ADA compliance, and workers’ compensation programs.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations to support decision-making.

Communication & Education

  • Create and deliver a Total Rewards communication strategy to drive understanding and engagement.

Legal Compliance

  • Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local laws; oversee audits as needed.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the annual Total Rewards budget, monitoring and reforecasting throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Compensation, Benefits or Total Rewards roles, including incentive program design.
  • Proven experience aligning rewards strategies to business needs.
  • Additional experience or background in Benefits a plus
  • Strong knowledge of US compensation laws, market practices, and benefits compliance.

Position Summary

Job Description

We're looking for a Compensation Analyst who's a data detective and strategic thinker. You'll analyze everything from base pay to equity grants, using your solid understanding of compensation principles, and a sharp eye for fairness, consistency and market alignment. From market benchmarking to data modeling, you'll help us shape and scale comp programs built to be both competitive and sustainable.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with our Senior Manager to run key compensation processes smoothly and thoughtfully.
  • Conduct analysis of compensation data and support global market pricing activities, leveraging internal and external data to develop and maintain cash compensation and equity ranges.
  • Provide benchmarking insights and recommendations for new or evolving roles, organizational changes, or emerging market trends.
  • Contribute to program design and implementation. Identify opportunities to improve or revise compensation programs as business needs shift.
  • Turn complex data into simple and actionable stories (yes, your spreadsheets will have admirers). Be ready to lend your expertise in thoughtful partnership with managers.
  • Collaborate with People, Finance, and Talent teams to support comp cycles, offer reviews, budget development and organizational design projects. Basically, if it touches pay, you're in the mix.
  • Jump into compensation-related projects and activities, big and small, from refining processes to making sure our data tells a story.
  • Pitch in on training and communication materials.
  • Prepare compensation data submissions for third-party survey(s).
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of compensation experience, with demonstrated understanding of wage and salary administration, including job analysis, market pricing and compensation surveys.
  • A curious mind and strong analytical skills that can turn complex data into meaningful, understandable models for decision makers.
  • Advanced Excel skills. You can write formulas in your sleep (and may or may not have a favorite).
  • Not just great with data, great with people too. You know how to bring clarity, curiosity and a little personality to the numbers.
  • A highly organized individual, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to manage projects through execution.
  • High energy level. Self- starter; willing to take initiative.
Bonus Points For
  • Knowledge of global job architecture mechanics
  • Familiarity with Radford (Aon) and Workday
  • A love for data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and turning it into clarity

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period.   1. Developing Meta's Human Resource (HR) policies, strategies, and programs related to compensation.

  2. Apply human resource management principles, data analysis and data management to develop strategic HR compensation programs that promote market competitiveness to attract and retain talent, while aligning compensation programs with the company's compensation philosophy.

  9. Analyze trends in compensation and build intelligence through reporting.

  10. Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline the process.

  11. Analyze competitive compensation trends to identify ways to improve the competitiveness of Meta's compensation programs.

  12. Generate summarizing key compensation data for review by executives, managers, and other stakeholders.

  13. Conduct HR cost modeling and employee impact analysis for proposed new programs or program changes.

  14. Inform, influence, and execute new HR and recruiting program strategies and tactics using data analysis and impact metrics to support the planning and execution of our compensation programs.

  15. Monitor compensation and HR program trends and provide feedback to attract and retain talent while aligning programs with Meta's compensation philosophy.

  16. Develop compensation models and conduct statistical analysis to support HRBPs and the compensation team in making business decisions.

  17. Identify and track success metrics for improving our compensation program, and they will propose and execute improvements to business processes for the program.

  18. Work with large amounts of data and tools to streamline process for analyzing trends in compensation.

  19. Manage HR project elements and provide functional expertise for compensation and other cross- functional projects.

  20. Work with large amounts of data to build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics, and create tools to streamline the process and to monitor the integrity and validity of reported data.

  21. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance, or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a business-related occupation. Requires 3 years of experience in the following:

    1. Identifying and control for data quality (Sample size, and compositional errors)

Job Summary

With limited guidance, supports compensation program strategy, design, implementation, and administration. Collaborates with internal partners providing necessary tools and information in order to make informed decisions regarding compensation. Works independently on less complex issues involving employee base pay, and short and long-term incentives.

Responsibilities

  • Completes job evaluations and benchmarks internal positions. Presents recommendations to business leaders and partners, with involvement from manager in more complex reviews or on more senior levels roles. Recommendation includes career level, salary grade and compensation targets when appropriate. Deepens understanding of client / industry strategy, understanding of our competition, and how business works to inform recommendations.

  • Supports the analysis, design, and implementation of incentive plan designs. Partners with Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management and Business Executives in the review and/or redesign of incentive compensation plans. Ensures appropriate consideration of Sound Compensation Program and governance/ risk requirements

  • Partners with HR and Finance on the annual compensation process. Completes analytics and presents findings to HR partners and present to business leaders with manager to ensure pay decisions align with Key's Compensation philosophy.

  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and laws. May complete compliance testing of applicable risk related controls for compensation or benefits programs. Monitors applicable legislative developments. Identifies and escalates issues as necessary and may assist with issue resolution.

  • Monitors market trends to gauge the effectiveness and competitiveness of Key’s incentive programs

  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $83,000 to $102,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
