What We Need

We are seeking a Compensation Strategy Partner who will provide critical compensation insights and expertise, working closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders. You will also collaborate with Total Rewards leadership to design, implement, and manage our compensation philosophy, programs, and policies. This role reports directly to the Director of Compensation.

What We Do

The Compensation Team operates within the Human Resources department and is dedicated to managing employee rewards, including salary structures, incentive programs, bonuses, benefits, and various financial rewards.

What You Will Do

  • Act as a consultant to HR Business Partners and management on all compensation-related matters, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Conduct in-depth analyses using market data and provide proactive guidance to maintain competitive compensation practices.

  • Collaborate with talent acquisition and HRBPs to review compensation for new hires, promotions, and transfers to ensure competitiveness and alignment.

  • Lead cyclical compensation processes, including annual merit reviews, bonus planning, and promotions, while identifying ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Drive the standardization and documentation of compensation policies and practices.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of job architecture, compensation ranges, and leveling frameworks to ensure consistency and transparency.

  • Maintain accurate compensation-related data in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and ensure updates to job profiles and pay ranges.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and models offering actionable insights for HR and business leaders.

  • Utilize data to guide strategic decisions and measure the effectiveness of compensation programs.

What You Will Need

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a similar HR or finance role, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, validate assessments, draw conclusions, and present recommendations clearly.

  • Familiarity with global compensation practices or international market data is a plus.

  • Excellent project management skills to ensure timely execution of projects within scope.

  • Experience with compensation tools and applications (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Payfactors, CompAnalyst) and HRIS platforms (preferably Workday).

  • The capability to effectively navigate change while considering the implications for technology and business processes.

  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.

  • A talent for influencing decisions with compelling data and analyses.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, based in Wilmington, MA.
