Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and cGMP regulations
  • Maintain sterility through aseptic technique, gowning, and ISO-classified cleanroom procedures
  • Review prescriptions and compound records for therapeutic accuracy and patient safety
  • Oversee and verify sterile production, documentation, and labeling
  • Perform final product verification and release (when authorized)

Requirements

  • PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 2 years of USP <797> sterile compounding experience (503A, 503B, or hospital IV room)
  • Proficiency with laminar flow hoods, aseptic gowning, and cleanroom operations

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and cGMP regulations
  • Maintain sterility through aseptic technique, gowning, and ISO-classified cleanroom procedures
  • Review prescriptions and compound records for therapeutic accuracy and patient safety
  • Oversee and verify sterile production, documentation, and labeling
  • Perform final product verification and release (when authorized)
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and continuous quality improvement processes
  • Mentor and train technicians on sterile compounding and documentation procedures
  • Manage accurate inventory and ensure proper handling of APIs and sterile components


Requirements

  • PharmD or Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Active Texas Pharmacist License (multi-state licensure a plus)
  • Minimum 2 years of USP <797> sterile compounding experience (503A, 503B, or hospital IV room)
  • Proficiency with laminar flow hoods, aseptic gowning, and cleanroom operations
  • Familiarity with USP <800> and cGMP protocols
  • Sterile compounding training required; CSPT or CE certifications preferred
  • Strong documentation, quality assurance, and communication skills
