Work on NYP's own Computerized Maintenance Management System (CCMS) at our four million square feet of state-of-the-art infrastructure as a Coordinator.
Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator
In role the CMMS Coordinator maintains CMMS system and develops reports for Facilities Operations Department. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (troubleshooting) activities associated with utilization of the CMMS software. You'll instruct staff in the general use of CMMS software and applications as well as keeps current with new CMMS developments within the CMMS industry. You'll take an active role in periodic upgrades, continued development and enhancement of the CMMS for monitoring and reporting departmental activities. You'll develop and continuously update the inventory of all present and newly acquired equipment and compile information from engineering supervisory and management staff to develop automatic scheduling of preventive maintenance work orders, corrective maintenance work orders and work orders detaining routine daily, weekly and monthly equipment rounds. You will provide distribution of all work orders to respective leaders and produces monthly Quality Assurance status reports of all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders issued.
This full time day position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Required Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating and maintaining asset inventory utilizing a computerized maintenance management system in a healthcare facility or related business environment
- Experience in data analysis in the facilities maintenance program, specifically in asset management, equipment failure analysis and/or spare part optimization.
- Experience scheduling work orders utilizing CMMS

Responsible for performing all necessary preventive, corrective, and depot level maintenance in support of shipboard Internal Communication Systems. This is a senior leadership position. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing general testing and repair, maintenance and installation of audio systems or equipment, preferably as a USCG or Navy IC/ET/OS 1st Class Petty Officer or Chief.
Based primarily on shipboard 1MC, 6MC, 21MC systems, the candidate conducts various audio and alarm tests utilizing specialized test equipment such as Audio Analyzers, Signal generators, Multimeters; testing may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures. Interprets Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical publication, manuals, shipboard prints and test procedure in order to test and conduct maintenance of announcing and alarms equipment. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
Responsibilities
· Provides technical leadership to maintenance team staff and occasionally onsite during scheduled groom maintenance, corrective maintenance, system installations, and engineering upgrades.
· Supports and guides depot level maintenance activities, ensuring not ready for issue equipment is quickly fixed or sourced to our Depot Level Maintenance vendors for repair.
· Performs logistics (i.e. kitting, packing, documenting, and shipping) activities necessary to prepare for scheduled maintenance evolutions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
· Comprehension and hands on application of NAVSEA installation standards and Military Specifications for shipboard C5ISC systems installations.
· Comprehension and hands on application of various specialized test equipment.
· Comprehend and execute tasking of moderate to high complexity with little to no supervision.
· Works well within a team environment in the field.
· Possess and able to utilize basic hand tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, tie-wrap guns, connector crimpers, wire strippers, side cutters, and electrical scissors among others.
· Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and publications in order to execute a specific task.
· Capable of troubleshooting systems of high complexity in order to resolve operational issues.
· Working knowledge of connector fabrication, soldering, cableway, or telecommunications training such as BICSI, 3M, IPC. (NAVSEA Connector and Cableway Management Instruction is a plus)
· Quickly adapt and understand new system operations and maintenance procedures, installations, and upgrades through independent study, research, and comprehension.

Requirements:
· Experience performing repair, maintenance, and installation of audio amplifiers, wiring and speakers. A former USCG and/or USN shipboard Interior Communications (IC) systems technician is desired. A fun but solid leader of team members is key to success with us.
· Demonstrated strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
· Must have and be able to apply for and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance and travel to all states and Territories of the United States and OCONUS. Valid driver’s license is necessary to rent vehicles while on travel.

**Position Purpose:**
The Supervisor, System Maintenance and Planning (After Hours) will lead the after-hours activities of the construction and distribution departments as well as the Central Service Bureau (CSB) . This will include management of operation, maintenance and repair of distribution systems facilities, and related investigative activities on a planned and emergency basis. The Supervisor will approve deployment of personnel as required to execute planned work and maintain continuity of service for customers on an emergency basis. The Supervisor will coordinate any changes in planned activities for the next business day and ensure a seamless transition of oversight is achieved with the business hours team. The Supervisor will ensure all clerical, workforce management and emergency functions are carried out in accordance with acceptable procedures. The Supervisor will provide direction and communication to CSB staff as required to ensure that customer inquiries are handled in a timely, efficient and professional manner. The base working hours for this position will be 10:30 PM (Sunday) - 7:00 AM (Friday).
**Primary Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Departmental Coordination and Supervision
+ Coordinate after hours planned and emergency activities of system maintenance departments: Construction, Distribution, and CSB.
+ Supervise operations, including the installation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of system facilities (ex. mains, services, hydrants, valves).
+ Manage investigative work related to customer inquiries.
+ Ensure operational transition of Departmental oversight to and from the business hours team is seamless.
+ Coordinate schedule changes for the next business day that may be required as a result of after hour activities and staffing changes.

**Qualifications**
**Education/Experience/Background:**
+ High School Diploma/GED is required.
+ Experience in water distribution, construction is preferred.
+ Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in underground utility installation and repair or management and operation of public water supply distribution systems.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**
+ Ability to cope with emergency situations on a 24/7 basis in a dynamic and fast paced customer service-oriented business.
+ Ability to foster positive labor relations in a union shop environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings of distribution networks a plus.
+ Understanding of hydraulic principles related to piping networks a plus.
**Required Certification/Licenses/Training:**
+ Ability to pursue a NJ DEP W-1 operator's license within 1 year is preferred.
**Additional Information**
**Pay Range** $115000 to $12000 per year.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Review Government Furnished Information and technical publications.
+ Translate aviation terminology, procedures, and operations for the development teams.
+ Review all training content and provide technical input.
+ Support design meetings.
+ Review drawings and 3D images to validate accuracy.
+ Test all training content, to include complex simulations.
+ Maintain a fresh, broad, and imaginative view of the learning content.
+ Collaborate effectively with government and military staff with little supervision.

**Qualifications:**
Required:

NEC V92B Announcing System Maintenance Technician. Performs organizational level maintenance and operation of the AN/SIA-127/134 Announcing Systems which supports the 1MC (General), 2MC (Machinery), 3MC (Aviators), 5MC (Flight Deck), 6MC (Ship-to-Ship), 10MC (Well Deck), 29MC Threat Announcing, or Emergency 3MC announcing circuits, depending on the soft ware package loaded into the control system. Using basic knowledge and skills perform fault isolation and corrective maintenance on the AN/SIA-127/134 Announcing Systems which consist of Power Supplies, Telephone Interfaces, Control Computers, Digital Audio Players, Digital Matrix, Audio Control Panels, Audio Relays, Speaker Group Relays, Monitor Panels, Audio Amplifiers, Digital/Analog Microphone Control Stations, Presentation Control Stations, and Speakers. Utilizing basic networking knowledge and skills set up and maintain software configurations of all system features. Ensures 24 hours-a-day operation during ship readiness conditions I through V.
