GES is seeking an Int. Network Admin to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA's Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The Int. Network Admin will be support planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the network. Duties will include providing specifications for network architecture, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. Support level duties will include monitoring, installation, modification, testing and servicing of network equipment.
Primary focus will be on, handling internal projects for operations, supporting driving time-sensitive initiatives, supports ITIL service area activities (problem management, incident management, service request fulfillment, etc.) and specific tasks to a successful conclusion, operations management, configuration/change management t, service level agreements (SLA).
The individual will adhere to and improve standard operating procedures (SOP's) in a matrixed organization supporting the prime contractor and CMS. Along with a demonstrated ability to manage a team composed of Network & Firewall Administrators.
Required Experience
- Experience with Cisco technologies with recent experience in Cisco ACI
- Experience with F5 Load balancers
- Experience with physical connection/access to data center hardware via console serial for router/switches & using a crash cart to connect to servers
- Experience with rack/stack gear, running copper/fiber cables
- Experience with using ticketing/change management systems like ServiceNow
- Experience in following strict change control and guiding others in following the change control process
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior network administrators.
- BS degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Oral and written communication for change procedures, and management updates
- Technology: Prior experience with OSI Layers, Security, Storage, VMWare, System/Network Admin

• Responsible for monitoring, and resolution of system alerts for Transport, LAN/WAN, Site Environments, Tower Lighting, Fiber, Voice Systems, and Telecommunication Leased Lines.
• Work as a single point of contact for support and participate in joint resolution for 3rd party AEP Leased dark fiber customers including rural broadband providing trouble support, outage communication/coordination and dispatching for any service issues.
• Monitor in scope telecom devices and review all TCOM changes while managing communication to business units/dark fiber customers, and escalations /dispatches to other TCOM teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve the TCOM network supporting SCADA networks using the approved NERC-CIP access protocols to gear at sensitive sites.
• Service Provider Telecom team onsite will be operating out of AEP NOC Location(s) in Ohio.
• Troubleshoot issues at NERC CIP networked sites using approved NERC CIP access protocols.
• Document and update training material found in Knowledge Base articles in ServiceNow and on the teams web site.
• Attend Production Review and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting (Daily)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operate and maintain secure network solutions operated as a centralized enterprise capability for the US Army.
- Partner with key stakeholders and technical experts to perform legacy environment discovery, assessing current capabilities, configurations, and requirements to provide tier III support for the Army global network.
- Analyze and understand secure wide area connectivity inclusive of underlay, overlay, and transport design that supports performance, quality of service, security, and mission requirements.

- Integrate capacity planning and scaling of network and security stack environments into the overall operational support processes and staff.

- Work with information assurance teams and the AGUN cybersecurity service provider (CSSP) to ensure compliance to DoD standards to assist with maintenance of the network security posture.
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree with 8+ years' experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience (additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).
- Require network certification which shall meet or exceed a CCNA (comparable vender certification accepted upon review).
- Require active DoD IAT Level II (i.e. Security+) certification or equivalent prior to start.
- Heavily experienced in patching, upgrading, and lifecycle refresh of network devices.
- Demonstrated experience with networking concepts and protocols: LAN, WAN, BGP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, Routing(L2/L3), and Firewalls.
- Demonstrate experience in one or more of the following enterprise network management tools such as Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco Prime, Cisco DNA, or Junos Space.
- Demonstrate experience in system hardening of network infrastructure to include DoD STIG implementation.
- Must have experience in working with two or more of the following vender network technologies: Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Dell, or AppGate.
- Experience with the following protocols: SFTP, SSH, SCP, SNMP, NTP.
- Must be able to work as part of a team to lead troubleshooting and resolve complex network issues.

- Strong proficiency in RADIUS, TACACS+, and LDAP for secure authentication and access control.
- In-depth understanding of 802.1X, PKI, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and encryption standards.
- Experience working with HPE Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE, or similar AAA solutions.
- Experience with AirWave and Central On-Prem for network monitoring and management.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in log analysis, packet captures, and debugging complex network issues.
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, and automation tools (a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, technical documentation skills, and customer communication.
- Proven ability to manage critical customer escalations in fast-paced environments.

- Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP).
- Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP).
- Aruba Certified Network Security Expert (ACNX).
- Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP).
- Other security/network certifications (CCNP, Palo Alto, etc.).
