Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a contract to fulltime hire position, you will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and supporting electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions for seamless integration with trading partners. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, communication, and technical skills to ensure processes align with business needs and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and provide support for EDI solutions, ensuring effective integration with trading partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for EDI transactions that meet business and industry standards.
- Create detailed data mapping specifications to facilitate smooth data transformation between systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, offering timely support to internal and external partners.
- Identify and propose enhancements to workflows to improve EDI processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI processes, data mappings, and system configurations.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and support decision-making processes.
- Support the creation of business requirement documents, functional specifications, and data mapping documents.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and Visio to streamline documentation and visualization processes.
Requirements

Maximus is currently seeking a Lead Systems Analyst . This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating business and technical requirements. Consults with personnel from various departments and identifying areas for the development of technical solutions to automate and/or improve business processes. In this role, you will work independently with limited supervision along with acting as a Product Owner for Icertis, the new contract management system implemented at Maximus. You will communicate with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and defects. You will create implementation plans for future releases. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication and technical skills to support stakeholders and project clients.
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all Onboarding application and system architecture, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage and interfacing for the program portfolio.
- Manage business requirements, from internal and external parties (clients, partners, vendors) and creates business requirement specifications and business justifications.
- Helps create processes for repeatable solutions across programs.
- Effectively manages and leads others through change requirements or troubleshooting resolution techniques.
- Mentors and educates peers all the platforms used for solutions.
- Create and execute implementation plan for technical deliverables providing production support.
- Coordinate with Project Managers in the development of detailed project plans and work assignments.
- Create and implement data migration strategies for archiving data history into main applications.
Job Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Translates business requirements and objectives into system level requirements for use by development and testing teams.
- Performs data analysis and documentation of system processes, and data flows.
- Works with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and defects for future releases.
- Performs trouble shooting on production issues, system configurations and user related defects, that arise on a day-to-day basis to support the stakeholders.
- Acts as a resource for completing system configurations such as permissions, security and rules.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ Years of experience
Job Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree program and minimum. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 7+ years of related work experience is required.
- Due to program requirements, this position requires United States Citizenship.
- Must have experience analyzing and evaluating business and technical requirements.
- Must have experience creating and updating system and process documentation.
- Must have experience performing data analysis.

The Principal Network Engineer is the highest-level technical authority within the organization. This individual serves as both the final escalation point for Priority-1/2 incidents across all customers and the primary technical advisor and environment owner for a portfolio of strategic accounts. Success requires elite networking expertise, outstanding consulting and communication skills, and close collaboration with Service Desk, NOC, Sales, and leadership to maximize client stability, satisfaction, and growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead diagnostic and restoration efforts for complex P1/P2 incidents; perform root-cause analysis and publish findings.
- Act as senior escalation resource and mentor for Tier 1-3 engineers; deliver case debriefs, training, and best-practice guidance.
- Own the technical relationship for assigned clients-maintain deep knowledge of environments, risks, and business goals.
- Conduct proactive health checks, capacity planning, performance tuning, and best-practice audits to prevent issues before they surface.
- Develop and present multi-year technical roadmaps aligned to client strategy, budget, and service capabilities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Produce clear, thorough documentation (HLD/LLD, MOP/CAB change plans, incident RCAs, environment runbooks).
- Influence service standards, tooling, and automation; pilot emerging technologies for future managed service offerings.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for high-priority escalations

The successful Principal Network Engineer will have:
- Expert-level Cisco certification (CCIE-Enterprise or CCIE-Routing & Switching) required
- ITIL Foundation (or higher) preferred.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- 10+ years of experience with dynamic routing protocols
- 10+ years of experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE Routing/switching platforms
- 10+ years of experience with Remote Access VPN and Site-to-Site VPN
- 10+ years of experience in troubleshooting and managing Firewalls: ACLs, NAT, NGFW, routing
- Proficient with AT LEAST FOUR of the below technologies
o 4+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting ACI
o 4+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting ISE
o 2+ years of experience managing Cisco SD-Access
o 3+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting public cloud (AWS or Azure)
o 5+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting FMC and managed devices (FTDs)
o 4+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting Meraki MX, MS, MR and SDWAN
o 3+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting DNAC
o 3+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting SD-WAN (Cisco)
o 3+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama, including Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN
o 3+ years of experience with Automation / Programmability: Python / Ansible
