The Concrete Delivery Professional is responsible for driving and delivering concrete to industrial, commercial, and residential construction job sites in a safe and efficient manner adhering to DOT and company rules and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operates and drives a ready mix truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Dolese rules and regulations
- Demonstrates an understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices at the workplace and continuously follows all safety rules
- Performs weekly maintenance, record, and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, and checking and adding fluids as needed
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner
- Visually inspects the consistency of concrete in the mixer
- Uses water hoses, brushes, and other cleaning supplies to maintain a clean mixer truck
- Completes and maintains a DOT Daily Log Book
