The Sr VCI is an experienced Vehicle Condition Inspector. They know a ton about cars, and love to talk about them - explaining to our clients what they need to know in a way they can understand. What you will do:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Partnering with a Territory Manager and a team of Inspectors, conducts inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease, to detect damage, missing parts and mechanical problems.
- Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation.
- Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
- Interface regularly with our dealers to develop and ensure client satisfaction and build strong relationships.
- Travel to & from dealerships and homes to inspect, and write condition reports, list vehicles to sell on the auction platform.
- Take multiple, overall, and damage photos match them to a vehicle, and download them to the image server utilizing the company issued smart phone.
- List inspected wholesale vehicles utilizing ACV Auctions platform for bidding and purchasing.
- Sign up independent dealerships as buyers to utilize ACV Auctions digital platform.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 2 year(s) Experience in the automobile field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service background
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.
- Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to understand customer needs and expectations.
- Valid driver's license and use of a validly registered and insured motor vehicle required.

Compensation : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This position is eligible for additional compensation pursuant to ACV's incentive compensation plan. THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Condition Monitoring Analyst, you will evaluate machine conditions and trends, compile reports and make recommendations to customers regarding machine condition by utilizing the five elements of Condition Monitoring: SOS, Inspections, Electronic Data, Site, Repair History and Component Tracking and Site Conditions.

Job Summary: The Condition Monitoring Analyst (CMA) is responsible for analyzing aggregated condition monitoring data such as S.O.S., inspections, electronic data, site conditions, Service Letters, OLGA, and equipment history. The CMA makes appropriate repair and/or operation recommendations for the Respective Fleet as indicated by the data to applicable internal/external customers.

Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Analyze condition monitoring data (e.g., S.O.S., inspections, electronic data, site conditions, Service Letters, OLGA, equipment history)
- Provide equipment and/or operation recommendations to customer-facing Dealer representatives derived from condition monitoring data

The Condition Monitoring Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting aggregated condition monitoring machine data to facilitate early and accurate detection of changes in equipment health, performance, operation, and application. The individual in this position also provides cost savings to the customer by making repair and operational recommendations to improve machine availability and productivity. Seeking candidates with parts and heavy equipment technical service knowledge. College degree, a plus.

This role will oversee the vehicle condition of the Hertz Fleet. This position impacts the success of our company establishing and maintaining a Hertz Brand Standard while minimizing expenses and downtime and ensuring return on investment. This position will work with TechOps to improve the process and quality of our vehicles from purchase through all deletion channels.
**The salary for this position is $60,000/yr**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Responsible for developing and maintaining a Hertz brand standard across the Hertz Fleet.
+ Responsible for interpreting, implementing, and administering all vehicle manufacturer's turnback programs and managing costs associated with same to maximize profit.
+ Responsible for interpreting, implementing, and administering Hertz Car Sales programs and managing costs associated with same to maximize profit.
+ Utilize reporting and documentation to monitor all deletion program eligible vehicles and prepare various reports for management.
+ Collaborate and negotiate with various vehicle manufacturers auction representatives, sales channels and provide feedback to Hertz operation managers.
+ Responsible for preparing administrative paperwork for the fleet, salvage packages, and quality control when work is being performed on the fleet.
+ Partner with and assist the Maintenance Manager as needed with inspections and oversee daily operations to ensure processes are being adheredto.

+ Extensive knowledge of automobiles and their minimum serviceability as it relates to safety items, cosmetic and mechanical
+ Must be able to analyze and Interpret Hertz contractual obligations to return vehicles to the OEM's standards
