THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Condition Monitoring Analyst, you will evaluate machine conditions and trends, compile reports and make recommendations to customers regarding machine condition by utilizing the five elements of Condition Monitoring: SOS, Inspections, Electronic Data, Site, Repair History and Component Tracking and Site Conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS

  • Compile machine data to review, evaluate, and trend machine condition.
  • Provide service and maintenance recommendations from evaluations.
  • Develop and distribute Level 3 Condition Monitoring reports as requested
  • Generate leads from Scheduled Oil Sampling (SOS) results and machine Event/Fault codes.
  • Interface with customers regarding technical questions about their equipment.
  • Interface with sales representatives regarding technical questions about customer equipment.
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • 2+ years experience diagnosing and/or repairing Caterpillar equipment OR
  • 2+ years experience in a sales role in the heavy equipment industry

Job Summary: The Condition Monitoring Analyst (CMA) is responsible for analyzing aggregated condition monitoring data such as S.O.S., inspections, electronic data, site conditions, Service Letters, OLGA, and equipment history. The CMA makes appropriate repair and/or operation recommendations for the Respective Fleet as indicated by the data to applicable internal/external customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Analyze condition monitoring data (e.g., S.O.S., inspections, electronic data, site conditions, Service Letters, OLGA, equipment history)

  • Use software tools (e.g., Dealer/CAT Software, Microsoft Excel, Access) to analyze condition monitoring data

  • Build collaborative relationships with other departments throughout the Dealership (e.g., S.O.S. Interpreter, Rental Fleet managers, Service Managers, PM schedulers and customer-facing Dealer representatives)
  • Use the Dealer/CAT Software to build cases and enter leads and Dealer business system to extract customer and equipment history
  • Provide emergency recommendations
