Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Software Configuration Analyst / Principal Software Configuration Analyst** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in **Melbourne, FL** .
_**This role may be filled at the Base OR Principal level based on the listed qualifications, below**_
In this role, the successful candidate will support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives related to engineering tools development. The candidate shall work under the guidance of the Systems Engineering Manager to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of Engineering Tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supporting the maturation of the engineering digital thread
+ Supporting the development of engineering PLM tools and processes
+ Supporting the capture of PLM requirements for stakeholders
+ Documenting stakeholder use cases
+ Validation and testing of PLM tool functionality
+ Directly supporting the Systems Engineering Manager on a daily basis
+ Creating training/best practice documentation

**Basic Qualifications (Base):**

+ Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

**Basic Qualifications (Principal):**
+ Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 5 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 1 years of related professional/military experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $05,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: 86,600.00 - 130,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. The Software Configuration Analyst will be responsible for:
+ Coordinating/creating configured builds for test and delivery
+ Administration of the SCM tools
+ Facilitate and scribe for control board meetings, creating build and delivery documentation, and process improvement activities

Responsible for inventory and control of all Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Software and Licensing and entry into the COTS Software database. Coordinates with site Engineers, Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance and Government representatives on CM activities. Defines, documents, and implements improvements to site software CM processes and ensures all Contractor Operator and Work Instructions are current. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
