Eversource is looking for a Supervisor, Construction (Construction Management, Transmission) located in Eastern Massachusetts . In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the construction field management and construction inspection process of projects for transmission lines and substations in Massachusetts. You will directly supervise Transmission Construction Representatives and work with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, other Transmission Group managers and field staff to ensure the safe and timely completion of work meeting Eversource's quality standards. Essential Functions:

  • Works effectively with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Contract Administration, other transmission business managers, CONVEX, Legal, Purchasing and field staff to provide support using contractor resources to ensure the safe and timely completion of work meeting Eversource’s quality standards.

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the construction phase of projects relative to cost, productivity, schedule, best practices, and Eversource Policies and Procedures.

  • Ensures compliance with environmental programs, policies, rules and regulations.

  • Directs efforts to achieve world-class excellence regarding safe work practices and safety performance.

  • Promotes teamwork among and between all members of the Transmission and Distribution organizations in his/her jurisdiction and other internal groups.

  • The position requires system-wide on-call responsibilities.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of transmission construction

  • Thorough knowledge of applicable work practices and procedures, and safety requirements

  • Possess a detailed knowledge of transmission power system operations, maintenance, and construction.

Education:

Experience

  • Experience in Energy Delivery and transmission experience is preferred

  • Supervisory experience of both non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit employees is preferred   

Licenses & Certifications:   

  • Must hold a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Serves as manufacturing site CMC Inspection Lead with responsibility for the overall strategic direction, oversight, performance and effectiveness of the site inspection program.

General/Position Summary

The Director, CMC Inspection Management as part of the Vertex Quality Assurance Organization is responsible for the inspection management related to CMC activities of the internal manufacturing site for Cell & Gene. This role will be responsible for the development of an inspection program for site compliance and maturity, inspection preparation, consistent state of readiness and inspection management. The role is responsible for designing the program, identifying risks, driving mitigation of such risks and supporting cross-functional partners in ensuring execution.

Additional responsibilities include support for external site inspection readiness. The ideal candidate is someone with significant experience in establishing manufacturing site inspection programs from development to commercial and successfully executing to maintain a constant inspection readiness site.

This is a Cell & Gene manufacturing site based role located in the Boston Seaport.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as manufacturing site CMC Inspection Lead with responsibility for the overall strategic direction, oversight, performance and effectiveness of the site inspection program.
  • Responsible for identification of compliance gaps/risks, drives alignment on mitigation and assures action execution to closure.
  • Develops and implements strategies for inspection readiness, including mock inspections, training, and site preparation visits.
  • Partners with the site QA leadership and cross-functional leadership for coordination and alignment in ensuring overall execution, readiness and site maturity adequacy.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in response to audit and inspection findings.
  • Collaborates with the Global Quality Audit and Inspection Management to enable execution and maturity of site for pre-approval inspection and other inspection readiness.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to internal audits, inspections and compliance, and identifying areas for improvement.
