Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Preferred Certifications/Licenses:

Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction quality assurance/quality control, with at least 3 years on major airport, transportation, or similarly complex capital projects.
- Familiarity with FAA guidelines, airport design and construction standards, and applicable building codes.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and document QA processes effectively in a large program environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on behalf of an Owner or Owner's Representative for a public agency.
- Knowledge of airport operations, TSA/FAA regulatory environment, and security coordination.
- Proficiency with document control and QA tracking systems such as Procore, e-Builder, or Primavera Kahua.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead representative for QA on behalf of the airport owner, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality construction.
- Review and monitor contractor Quality Control (QC) programs and QA/QC documentation for conformance with project specifications, FAA standards, and airport authority guidelines.
- Conduct independent QA inspections, audits, and surveillance on construction materials, workmanship, and system installations across terminal and airside/landside facilities.
- Verify that all quality-related activities are in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality manuals, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with design-build teams, contractors, and testing agencies to resolve non-conformances, track corrective actions, and close out deficiency reports.
- Develop and maintain QA logs, inspection reports, and other documentation to support monthly progress reporting and close-out packages.
- Support commissioning and turnover processes, ensuring quality records are completed, signed off, and submitted in accordance with contractual milestones.
- Mentor and provide guidance to field QA inspectors and coordinate specialized inspections (e.g., fire protection, MEP systems, waterproofing).
- Participate in QA/QC meetings, readiness reviews, and stakeholder walkthroughs, representing the interests of the Owner.
Salary:
- $145,000.00 annually

Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
