Morley Moss, Inc. is currently looking for a Surveyor to work out of their Sunnyvale, TX location. Prior experience in Electrical Construction or similar industry, conducting survey work using Trimble or similar software and tools, is preferred.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Surveyor role is responsible for laying out precise construction points at various job sites using state-of-the-art Robotic GPS point equipment such as Trimble GPS Total Stations, ensuring the project's landmarks are established with precision. As an embodiment of accuracy on site, the position requires adherence to strict tolerances, safeguarding the high-quality standards upheld in every task undertaken. This role demands both individual initiative and team collaboration skills, meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in safeguarding project integrity and ensuring that we meet our customers' needs in a timely manner.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Coordinate with Lead Surveyor and project team on daily company & project needs
+ Setup and operate Robotic GPS point equipment, such as Trimble and/or GPS Total Stations.
+ Handle and carry up to 50 pounds of GPS equipment at jobsites on various terrain.
+ Locate and mark points throughout the jobsite for Electrical and Low Voltage Systems.
+ Uploading and downloading of data collectors and capable of using all functions of the Robotic GPS equipment and data collectors, depending on the needs of the project.
+ Establish checkpoints prior to shooting points to maintain/confirm 1/16" tolerance.
+ Ability to carry control throughout the project and maintain 1/16" tolerance.
+ Work closely with the BIM/VDC department, on-site Operation and General Contractor teams to address any problems/issues.
+ Construction and/or Survey experience with concentration on commercial/industrial projects.
+ Perform all work while adhering to all company and jobsite safety rules and regulations.
+ Recommend and implement improved work processes and procedures.
+ Develop and execute Surveyor training for project assigned users.
+ Other duties as assigned
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**
+ High School diploma/GED required.
+ Minimum 1 Year Experience in the use of Robotic GPS equipment/Surveying in Commercial Construction industry is a plus.
+ AutoCAD MEP/Revit Software is a plus. (Will provide on the job training)
+ Good Mathematical and Problem-Solving Skills that relate to the use and operation of Robotic GPS equipment.
+ Must have reliable transportation.
+ Must have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and ability to pass a driving record check.
+ Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints and project specifications.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail while meeting aggressive project schedules.
+ Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Handle and carry Robotic equipment on various jobsite terrains. Ability to manipulate materials and/or equipment between 10-50 lbs. To bend forward or down from the middle of the waist or the middle of the back, to bend downwards, to lower oneself and/or to move freely on hands and knees between 5-20 times daily. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Some duties in this position are performed under periodically disagreeable working conditions of a jobsite including working outside at times in inclement weather, and exposure to water, dust, dirt, grease, paint fumes, chemicals, and equipment noise and vibration. Most work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.

• Manage & monitor invoicing process
• Benchmark performance against other successful commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.

• RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable
• Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
• Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• Strong communication skills

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $110K-$140K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. **Turner & Townsend** are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Cost Manager** and/or **Quantity Surveyor** to join our Phoenix, Arizona area team, working on large-scale, high-impact projects, including Data Centers, Mission Critical, Commercial, and Manufacturing facilities for global clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management or quantity surveying, with experience managing complex, fast-paced projects within the construction sector.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Advising client on strategies, managing prequalification of vendors, assessing proposals, bids, and bid levelling documents, making final recommendations to the client, attending & chairing bid interviews, and managing appointment process
+ Manage estimating services for full project by developing project estimates (relating to construction, fees, direct work and other costs), reviewing estimations prepared by junior team members, presenting estimates to client, presenting value engineering recommendations and risk assessments to client, meeting with vendors to review, validate, and challenge costs, and reviewing estimates by utilizing benchmark data collected from other projects
+ Manage cost reporting by establishing reporting schedule, reviewing & presenting cost reports and forecasts, reviewing project budget & spend forecast with the client, developing & maintaining commercial risk register, and hosting periodic meetings with project team & vendors
+ Manage cost control process by reviewing payment application assessments prepared by junior team members, liaising with project managers to recommend contractor entitlements, reviewing requests for change orders from vendors & making recommendations to client, and using dispute prevention/management/resolution procedures to manage payment requisitions, change orders, and contractual disputes
+ Manage & monitor invoicing process
+ Benchmark performance against other successful commissions.
+ Manage all facets of the final accounting process and post contract audits and account close outs.
+ Hold post-contract reviews with the client to establish a lesson learned document and apply lessons to create training manual
+ Develop procedures governing handover of project
+ Perform all the duties above through the use/preparation of Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms, Cost Estimating Software, and Take-off Software
+ SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry.
+ RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable
+ Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
+ Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
+ Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
+ Strong communication skills

**The salary range for this full-time role is** **$120K-$140K** **per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Los Angeles team, supporting a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including data centers, life sciences, commercial real estate, and healthcare. This role will involve overseeing cost management throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.

To be successful in this position you must have consulting experience, great communication skills and be comfortable operating in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects across various sectors, including data centers, life sciences, commercial real estate, and healthcare.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Construction Management Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in and providing strategic oversight, and leading cost management on complex construction projects.
• Strong background in working with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
• Proficient in cost management software.
• Expertise in cost estimating, cost planning, and cost control.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in cost reporting and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines.

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$160K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary.
