The goals of the WAS Strategy team are to deliver insightful and compelling strategic recommendations; conduct clear, consistent, fact-based analysis to inform recommendations and key business decisions; and drive the allocation of scarce resources to the highest-value opportunity areas across Schwab.
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Strategy to help drive the WAS organization's strategy by working directly with key leaders across the WAS org. This role will also collaborate closely with partners across Schwab in Retail, Advisor Services, Workplace, Schwab Asset Management, and corporate functions (e.g., Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance) to gain alignment on recommendations that will result in improved client and business outcomes.
**Where you will excel:**
+ Lead key strategic projects in collaboration with WAS offer management leaders and the senior leadership team
+ Craft compelling presentations and written communications (i.e., narratives) that articulate our vision and strategic recommendations, influencing audiences at different levels across Schwab - from executives in partner organizations to employees on offer management teams
+ Perform in-depth research and analyses (e.g., industry/market research, market sizing, client research, offer concept testing, competitive analysis, industry best practices, modeling, etc.)
+ Contribute to the WAS Strategy, Planning and Operations team's high-impact projects by developing your business acumen and supporting cross-enterprise efforts
**What you have**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years of business strategy experience
+ 5+ years of professional work experience - preferably in management/strategic consulting or within an internal strategy group
+ Exceptional executive presence, emotional maturity, collaboration and influencing skills
+ Ability to develop and share a point of view, create alignment and influence across all levels of the enterprise
+ Strong written communication skills with ability to craft executive-level communications and presentations for internal and external audiences that articulate our vision, strategy, and progress
+ Highly resourceful, adaptable, and creative problem solver who can thrive in a dynamic environment, solve issues as they arise, and drive progress in the face of ambiguity
+ Strategic thinker with strong business judgment and analytical skills
+ Strong acumen in financial services and wealth management; prior experience in wealth management preferred

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree completed by Spring/Summer 2026 in these or related areas of study:
