Work you'll do
In this role, you'll use your research and investigative skills to analyze personal employment and financial relationships in light of independence requirements. This will include:
+ Working closely with Partners, Principals, Managing Directors (PPMDs) and Senior Managers both within ICN and within Deloitte's services lines.
+ Performing research and analysis, drafting conclusions and communications, and strategizing on next steps in coordination with senior team members.
+ Developing an enhanced understanding of the intricacies of PCAOB, SEC, AICPA independence rules, and Deloitte US and Global Firms Independence policies.
+ Interpreting and implementing new and existing regulations relating to various employment, and financial relationship for the Deloitte US entities, and providing advice and guidance to Deloitte US professionals and client-facing teams.
+ Participating in policy setting by performing research and drafting communications aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of current, new, or changing independence rules
+ Creating and revising training courses and materials to address rule changes and new interpretations of existing rules identified during consultations with regulators.
+ Working on special projects both independently and collaboratively with PPMDs, involving senior members for input as necessary.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Stony Brook Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty member to provide educational and programmatic leadership, patient care, teaching and clinical supervision of trainees in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. Stony Brook Medicine encompasses Suffolk County, Long Island's premier 624-bed academic hospital and regional referral center for complex tertiary care and level I trauma and is home to the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University.
The Consultation-Liaison (C-L) division includes a well-staffed multidisciplinary clinical and teaching service for residents and students and a Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. The department includes numerous ambulatory integrated care and telehealth initiatives with primary care and medical sub-specialties. The position offers faculty the opportunity to develop a subspecialty inpatient or outpatient niche within C-L Psychiatry and opportunities in administrative and educational program leadership.
**Schedule:** We offer a Monday-Friday 40 hours weekly schedule or the opportunity for a "7 on, 7 off" rotational schedule with another psychiatrist, which would require no less than 80 hours bi-weekly. Please inquire on this scheduling option when interviewing.
**Total Compensation:** Starts at $308,000/year and up, dependent upon credentials and experience. We also offer generous healthcare benefits and the full complement of retirement/pension offerings as a SUNY employer.

**Required Qualifications:**
Psychiatrist (MD or DO, or foreign equivalent). Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry. Eligible for New York State licensure. Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry experience in an academic medical center.

Board certified or board eligible in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry, or additional board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Neurology. Leadership experience in Consultation-Liaison education and clinical service delivery.

**Responsibilities**
The Mayo Clinic Arizona (MCA) Department of Psychiatry and Psychology seeks a full-time psychiatrist with a passion for patient care, commitment to excellence, and experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry. This outpatient position is primarily focused on the evaluation and treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders and comorbid complex medical conditions. The Department's primary mission is to provide evidence-based and personalized mental health services for the medically ill populations. The successful applicant would join a vibrant collegial work environment with a dynamic clinical team of psychiatrists, clinical health psychologists and neuropsychologists. As an academic position, it would include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as well as opportunities for engagement in clinical research. The Mayo model of care involves multi-disciplinary teams offering evidence-based biologic and psychosocial treatments in a patient-focused, highly professional, and compassionate environment. Fellowship training and certification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry is preferred, though not required. Our practice is exclusively outpatient, apart from a hospital consultation-liaison service, which has a rotational, cross-coverage and call schedule.

**Qualifications**
Board-certification in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is required. If not already board certified, achievement of certification is required in the first three years of employment. The successful applicant should expect the possibility of coverage of services in both locations.
