**Position Overview**
As a **Senior UX Researcher** at NRG, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing research activities that inform and guide product and service design decisions. Your insights will directly influence how we build intuitive, meaningful experiences for our users. While your primary focus will be on research, the ideal candidate will also have some background or familiarity with UX design principles-a plus that will help translate research findings into actionable design solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Lead User Research Efforts:** Plan and conduct various qualitative and quantitative research studies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys) to gather actionable insights.

**Qualifications**
+ **Experience:** 5+ years of experience in UX Research or related roles, preferably with some exposure to UX Design practices.
+ **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, or a related field.
+ **Research Expertise:** Proven track record of designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., user interviews, field studies, usability testing, surveys, A/B testing).
+ **Analytical Skills:** Ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights.
+ **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and cross-functional teams.
+ **Contentsquare Familiarity:** Knowledge or experience with Contentsquare for use of identifying user behavior trends and embedding it within the UX research framework.
+ **Design Familiarity (Plus):** Working knowledge of UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus.

**Basic Required Qualifications** **:**
+ Expertise in Market Structure: A deep understanding of market structure and dynamics in liquid bulk shipping, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

**What's the role?**
As a Senior Market Risk Analyst, you will be responsible of the following duties:
+ Act as Senior Market Risk focal point for front-office and senior stakeholders

**What we need from you**

**What we offer**
The base salary range for this position is $122,000 - $182,000 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. **Job Summary:**
The Analyst, Market Risk Analytics is responsible for analyzing financial and credit/collateral risks associated with energy trading and marketing activities, including the corresponding retail activity.
