The Consumer Insights team gathers and analyzes data about customer behavior, preferences, and motivations to help the business make better decisions. This involves understanding why customers buy, what they like and dislike, and what influences their choices. The team then translates this understanding into actionable insights and recommendations that can be used to improve products, marketing, and the overall consumer experience.
**This role in summary**
KitchenAid is currently hiring a Consumer Insights Manager to join our Insights organization. This role will execute qualitative and quantitative research projects supporting the Global KitchenAid Small Appliance business. Ideal candidates will have a background in consumer research from either a client-side or vendor-side market research environment, and experience doing consumer-driven product innovation.
**Your responsibilities will include**
+ Support direct manager and business teams by coordinating research projects with supplier partners; Create and fully execute research learning plans for multiple product categories
+ Build trusted advisory relationships with business partners and leadership to influence decisions with data and facts

The mission of Global Strategic Insights is to connect human truth with business strategy to drive growth. The Manager, Innovation Insights, will be responsible for coordinating and managing the insight for identifying and validating Innovation opportunities utilising foundational tools (Menu Architecture, Customer Journeys Insights, Occasion segmentation), continuous sources as well as foresight. Key Responsibilities:
+ Synthesize insight from foundational tools (e.g. Menu Architecture, Customer Journey Insights, Occasion segmentation), continuous sources (Market data, CSAT, Brand Equity Tracker) and when relevant execute fresh research, to identify and prioritize a pipeline of innovation opportunities - focused on the most valuable problems to solve to unlock step changes in Customer Experience and Employee Experience
+ Partner with the Foresight Manager to ensure that prioritized innovation efforts address key consumer shifts
+ Partner with stakeholders across the Global Restaurant Experience to develop and execute learning plans that support the development, testing and validation of solutions that address innovation opportunities - with a particular focus on CX, EX and the Beverages Category
+ Own the Global Digital and Value Tracker aimed at providing a consistent measurement of how consumers are engaging with priority platforms and features
+ Manage relationships with existing insight vendors, work to continuously improve efficiency and value of existing tools, act as an advocate for agile insights tools & methodologies and where relevant identify more effective and agile innovation research methodologies to employ
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who loves tackling tough questions and has a passion for consumer insights and the media industry. The candidate should have a talent for synthesizing multiple data sources into clear and persuasive stories with actionable insights in order to engage, influence, and inspire cross-functional stakeholders at various levels.
Responsibilities:
+ Represent the voice of the consumer across the brand portfolio
+ Collaborate to provide data-backed thought leadership on the consumer perspective to stakeholders throughout the organization
+ Support ongoing research needs and custom qualitative and quantitative research projects from strategy through execution, including the management of viewer panels, brand trackers, and ad-hoc studies
