Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program
+ **Program Dates:** May 29 - August 7, 2026.
+ **Location** : This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US.
+ **Work Authorization** : US work authorization required for this role. Individuals requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible.
Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.
**The Main Responsibilities**
The Content Strategy intern plays a vital role in how Lumen does business with their customers. As part of a broader sales support organization, the intern will gain experience creating, reviewing and curating a repository of content used by sellers to build sales proposals and RFP responses. They will have the opportunity to create strategic content, analyze data to influence the team's roadmap, and build relationships across Lumen.
Main Responsibilities:
+ **Sales Proposal Content Creation & Curation:** Identify, curate, and/or create content for RFP responses as requested by sales teams. Review content library for expiring content; schedule content audits as needed. Edit and upload new content from RFPs as identified by SMEs and proposal managers.
+ **Reporting:** Develop and analyze an annual proposal content library user survey. Create reports to identify most-used content and user activity in proposal content database. Create and distribute monthly communications.
+ **Collaboration:** Attend sales and sales enablement calls. Manage and update intranet sites for sellers.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
**Required qualifications**
+ Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
+ Graduating August 2026 - May 2027
+ Preferred fields include but not limited to: Marketing, Business, Project Management, Communications, Liberal Arts, or other related fields
**Proficiency and understanding of:**
+ Microsoft tech stack - Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot, SharePoint
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Enjoys collaboration and works well in team environment
+ Comfort interacting with different levels of leadership and presenting solutions
+ Works to think of creative solutions to challenging problems, unafraid to ask questions
+ Ability to multitask while working in fast-paced environment
+ Salesforce experience
**Compensation**
Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
**Hourly Based Pay Range:**
Min: $26/hour
Max: $38/hour
