ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Content Creation & Copywriting:

  • Write compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing channels, including website pages, blog articles, email campaigns, social media posts, and other digital content.

Content Strategy & Planning:

Content Management & Distribution:

  • Optimize content distribution through email marketing, social media, and other digital channels to maximize reach and engagement.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the communications, and digital marketing teams to align content efforts with broader organizational goals.

  • Support other departments by providing content writing and editing assistance for various projects, including reports, proposals, and presentations.

Content Performance & Optimization:
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports on key metrics such as engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.
  • Use insights from data to refine content strategies, improve engagement, and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Conduct A/B testing on content to determine the most effective messaging and formats.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, applying new techniques to enhance content effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations for improving content workflows, processes, and overall content strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

EDUCATION/EXPERTISE:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or a related field, preferably within a non-profit or mission-driven organization.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, email marketing platforms, and basic design software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

As a Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that deliver relevant, meaningful differentiation and spark insight-centered commercial conversations that create brand loyalty and drive growth.
This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Write and edit insight-centered content across formats: articles, infographics, videos, guides, landing pages, white papers, emails, case studies and social media
* Manage and execute editorial calendar, working cross-functionally to align content with product launches and campaigns
* Identify points of differentiation for best positioning our services and software solutions
* Work closely with the product and sales teams to understand buyer needs and pain points
* Work with integrated marketing team partners to incorporate content into market awareness and demand generation campaigns
* Support subject matter experts in developing presentations and collateral for events and speaking opportunities
* Ability to travel on occasion as needed

**Required Qualifications:**
* 3+ years of content marketing or copywriting experience
* Demonstrated excellent short- and long-form writing and editing skills

* Ability work in either the Washington, DC, or Eden Prairie, MN, office 4 days weekly
