**Minimum Job Requirements**
**Education**
Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, or equivalent experience
**Work Experience**
5+ years of experience in video production, including 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
Proficiency with video production tools and software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
Strong understanding of lighting, audio, and cinematography techniques
**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**
Demonstrated ability to lead creative projects from concept through execution

We are seeking an experienced Video Production Specialist to execute end-to-end video content creation ranging from short-form promotional content to comprehensive product demonstrations and podcast productions. This role will be responsible for all aspects of video production, including concept development, filming, editing, and post-production, while also engineering video and audio setups for various recording environments.


In order to do this job well, you must be a versatile video professional with advanced technical skills across all aspects of production. You should have extensive experience creating professional video content for business audiences, working with both original footage and stock materials, and implementing sophisticated visual effects and motion graphics. You excel at managing complex productions independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.


This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.

This role may require up to 25% travel for on-location shoots, trade shows, and client demonstrations.

Scope of Responsibilities
  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content ranging from 30-second promotional spots to 10-minute complex product demonstrations
  • Source and capture original video footage while expertly integrating stock footage and b-roll to create compelling narratives

  • Lead and define short- and long-form storytelling through video content across the Club for online, social media, stadium videoboard, and advertising – work with stakeholders from every department to guide storytelling and content approaches in alignment with the Rowdies brand
  • Capture footage of Rowdies matchdays and training sessions
  • Shoot and edit press conferences, player interviews, highlight reels, community relations’ events, youth development, and sales and marketing activations
  • Help ideate and create content that organically weaves in corporate partner messaging and objectives to create value for the sponsor, the club, and the fanbase
  • Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio recorders, lighting equipment and microphones for location and studio production
  • Occasionally travel with the team and cover select road matches

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience in video production; undergrad experience in college athletics is accepted

  • Experience with Digital Cine and DSLR camera operations
  • Demonstrated experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac devices, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects

We're looking for a resourceful, creative editor to support our world-class multimedia offering, which includes podcasts, videos, and data-rich digital storytelling.
As a digital content editor at S&P Global Commodity Insights, you'll be embedded within our News team and collaborate with reporters, editors and analysts covering everything from oil to agriculture to emissions trading.
We're increasingly using audio and video to deliver commodities news to subscribers and reach new potential customers: we have a thriving podcast portfolio and a growing video news program that was recently shortlisted for a Future of Media award .
Editing, publishing and promoting podcasts and short-form videos are the core of this role, but you'll also help to curate and enhance content on our website, and take part in coaching and training other team members in digital media skills.
You'll bring a passion for news, an instinct for great storytelling, and understand how to apply journalistic best practices to multimedia content.
Strong audio and video editing skills are essential for this role - ideally you have experience using them in a newsroom setting.
