DESCRIPTION
The Social Media & Content Specialist will play a hands-on and strategic role in developing and executing PYA’s firmwide social media presence. This person will be a core part of the marketing team—building content calendars, shaping campaign strategy, and ensuring our brand voice resonates across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
This is an ideal role for someone who combines creative content development with analytical thinking and a strong grasp of how social media supports broader business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage the firm’s social media strategy in collaboration with marketing leadership and service line priorities
- Build and maintain a proactive, forward-looking content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, thought leadership, and firm initiatives
- Write, schedule, and publish compelling social posts that translate technical topics into clear, engaging messages
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to amplify webinars, white papers, media coverage, events, and press releases
- Partner with designers and video editors to bring visual content to life across platforms
- Track and analyze social media Key Performance Indicators (KPIs: engagement, reach, traffic, etc.) and adjust strategies based on performance insights
- Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, competitor’s activities. and B2B social best practices—and apply that knowledge to improve impact
- Contribute to campaign strategy and execution, including paid social, digital lead generation, and nurture workflows
- Repurpose and adapt content from other firm channels, including Teknovation.biz, for expanded reach
- Ensure all social media activity reflects PYA’s voice, brand standards, and regulatory guidelines
CONTENT TYPES
- Photos: Event coverage, headshots, behind-the-scenes firm culture moments
- Video: Short-form videos, webinar clips, executive insights, thought leadership soundbites, alongside PYA’s internal video team
- Graphics: Branded quote cards, infographics, charts, and promotional banners, along PYA’s design team
- Articles & Insights: Long and short form content, white papers, and published media pieces, and podcasts
- Webinar & Event Promotions: Campaigns for live and on-demand webinar content

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy, ideally in a B2B or professional services setting
- Demonstrated experience contributing to or leading social media strategy—not just posting content - but planning and executing a strategy
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a knack for adapting tone for different audiences, and ability to convey technical concepts succinctly.
- Proficiency in publishing content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube; experience with B2B campaigns is a plus
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Later)
- Working knowledge of design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is helpful
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce CRM, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) is a strong plus , especially for campaign execution, content planning, and performance reporting

- Upload, organize and tag digital assets in digital asset management systems
- Conduct web page QA in order to validate that it meets functional, presentation, search and editorial requirements
Project Management
- Develop project schedules, track project progress, and create internal and external status updates
- Work with in-house and client design and production teams to aid with visual concepts, photos, and illustrations as needed
- Oversee copy flow from editorial to production and publishing
- Track schedules and project milestones across project teams (including staff and freelancers) to ensure deliverables are on time and budget
- Customize standard Tendo resource documents for the client project and ensure that resources are executed as needed at each phase of projects
Client Relations
- Effectively contribute to client communications; maintain and ensure clear and focused communication with the client, including confirmation of key actions and next steps, expectation setting, and communicating process
- Provide outstanding customer service to all Tendo clients; look for opportunities to add value
- Communicate clearly in all client interaction, including email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
- Document/confirm client communication in writing according to Tendo standards
- Proactively communicate with clients as required; anticipate challenges and suggest solutions
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of editorial, content marketing, or digital content experience required.
