We are seeking a personable, tech-savvy physician to help oversee the clinic. The physician should be flexible and able to assist in local areas if needed. We’ve already established a strong area presence in this market, resulting in a sizable patient base that would require your care.
This position may be Monday through Saturday, depending on the region, with full-time and part-time availability. Shift and lunch times are flexible and can be determined by the physician. CannaMD physicians are independently contracted and earn up to $240,000 annually. Very competitive compensation arrangements are available.
Position Details

Requirements:Per state law, all CannaMD physicians must hold an active, unrestricted license as an allopathic or osteopathic physician and comply with all state-mandated education requirements. At this time, educational requirements include:
- Completing an annual course and exam administered by either the Florida Medical Association or the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Also, in line with Senate Bill 8A, CannaMD physicians may not be employed by, or have any direct or indirect economic interest in, any medical marijuana treatment centers or marijuana testing laboratories.CannaMD may, at its discretion, provide:
- Flexible schedules, including practice hours and lunchtimes

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care to patients in-person and via telemedicine. The ideal candidate is a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with a strong commitment to high-quality patient care, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat patients in-person or via telemedicine, recommending cost-effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Counsel patients on wellness plans and provide medical and wellness education.
Collaborate with internal teams to manage acute and long-term medical needs, ensuring continuity of care.
Prescribe medication in accordance with Massachusetts statutes and professional practice guidelines.
Record Management:
Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
Post test and examination results, ensuring timely follow-up.
Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinate with specialty care providers as appropriate.
Review incoming reports (e.g., labs, x-rays, EKGs), sign and date them, and follow up promptly.
Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.
Protocol and Practice Development:
Assist in updating and implementing protocols and principles of practice as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 1 year of direct experience post-residency in internal or family medicine.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Proficiency in using EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of direct clinical experience in a primary care setting.
Flexibility and interest in telemedicine environments.
Strong technological aptitude and willingness to learn and use new software tools.
A kind, compassionate demeanor with experience helping others using technology.
Location:
Harwich, MA 02645 (In-person role with relocation required)
Flexible Schedule:
Set your hours within Monday to Friday
No night shifts; on-call responsibilities as necessary
Work collaboratively in a 4-day per week schedule to balance work and personal life
Salary and Benefits
Annual pay range: $200,000 - $280,000 (based on experience)
