The Opportunity
FCA is seeking a Social Work Counselor for our Project Independence Program, a program that provides assists youth between the ages of 14-21 to live and work independently in the community when they are no longer eligible for foster care.
The Social Work Counselor will provide education and develop independent living skills for foster care children referred by the Department of Social Services.
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate!
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly home visits.
- Assist with developing and facilitating Independent Living Skills Workshops.
- Provide contacts and supports for foster families to facilitate implementation of independent living skills in the home.
- Coordinate service efforts with DSS caseworker regarding client's plan.
- Complete and maintain client case records.
- Complete a Step Up/ Casey Life Skills assessment and treatment plan in partnership with client, foster family and caseworker.
- Supervise student interns
- Provide aftercare services to all PI program youth.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Service related field required.
- One year of full-time experience working with adolescents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office.
- Valid and clean driver's license.

We are currently seeking a full-time Social Work Admissions Coordinator to work in our Adult Day Care Department who will embody the passion and commitment required to deliver the ultimate care for our participants. You would be scheduled to work 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend.
Education and experience requirements:
MSW from an accredited School of Social Work
Licensed by the New York State Education Department
At least one year experience in Long Term Care; Adult Day Health Care preferred
Principle Functions:
Performs social work duties, which include but not limited to, helping the registrant and/or his caregiver with social, emotional, economic and rehabilitation problems in both the ADHP and SADP.
Working with the Interdisciplinary Team in planning care and providing intervention through direct services.
Performs all other related duties as assigned. May be assigned to supervise undergraduate or graduate social work students or volunteers.
Identifies and builds effective network of community and professional sources for potential registrant referrals.
Markets Hispanic Program to community resources.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to support and maintain multiple Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments. This role also provides secondary support for a range of database platforms and cloud services, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS) Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server and other third-party database products.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in managing and supporting highly available and recoverable Oracle application and database environments.
- Assist in installing new Products/Interfaces as per business requirements.
- Develop and troubleshoot Oracle Code using SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
- Optimize the Database and Application Components and parameters for sustained performance and work with technical teams to tune concurrent programs, SQL queries, and procedures.
- Coordinate with deployment teams to promote code to user acceptance testing and production environments based on formal Change Management process and with minimal disruption to user productivity.
- Drive incident response, resolution, root cause analysis, and preventative monitoring improvements using AI-powered observability tools.
- Perform Oracle application and database patch analysis, patch installation, and resolution of patch install issues.
- Execute strategies for Oracle application and database backups and restores, disaster recovery, and data retention across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Ensure all individual activities follow internal IT processes.
